Hi guys/girls and of course all the faithful spurs people... and its beautiful to be one..
William Gallas i didnt see the inter game so i can only reflect on what the community has to say about the man
but can i say that the man has honestly played 3 or 4 very important games for us this year. im shore its more then that but he is the ultimate professional and to a degree i believe he believes in us...which is a good thing its easy to slag any player at any given time but as one person in the community said last week when he came on in the 90odd minute against the arse>He was all smiles like a kid who had pick a penny or two..
Im not sure if AVB will give him another year contract but he should i have no complaints about a few old fuckers who can tell the youngens a thing or two..
im shore he wont play to many more for us but i thank him for his efforts

Agree Gallas has played his part in experience, felt he was not at his best last night. Going forward we need to focus on where we are today and would we be happy at the beginning of the season, with where we are now. I would. I'm happy with spurs and what we are doing. It's easy to pick into things.

In avb we trust.

No it isn't.

It's the opinion of somebody who has been a member of this forum for six years. It's no more stupid than anything that you or I post. I think Gallas is past his best and I'm pretty sure that he won't be here next year. But, like chris zeds, I thank him for his effort, which has always been 100%.

Compared to the wondrous back pass from Walker at Anfield last week and his missing in action for Inter's opener on Thursday just where to you rate the Tattooed Master in all this? Gallas may be nearing the end of his time at Spurs but has no peers in this team when you look at his C.V.

The back-pass was terrible, but on Thursday Walker ran half the length of the field and was last seen near Inter's penalty area when Inter quickly moved the ball forward. He's fit and fast, but I presume he was hoping Dembele would cover his position.
Anyway, defending one player's shaky performance by highlighting an others seems silly.

As for Gallas, I doubt he'll be with us for much longer, what with Kaboul on the way back. Gallas has done us proud plenty of times, but recently the amount of individual errors have been a cause for concern. I'll wish him Bon Voyage when he goes :stop:

I like Gallas. I think he has been a good player and a good professional since coming to Spurs.

Nice considering many had their doubts.

His performances haven't been up to our level this season and it's time for him to play at a lower level or retire.

He's certainly not a player I have a problem with.

he's decent. he just had a very very bad game against Inter away. but I don't see him in squad for next year. Verts, Dawson and Kaboul are simply better. 4th CB will be Caulker, obviously ;)

Yea hopefully next year Kaboul will be fit and Caulker will be a year more experienced so with JV and Dawson in the squad too Gallas will be an after thought

He like Parker has served us well but is probably at the stage where we need to think about replacing or letting go (Parker can stay as back up but could be our last chance to cash in on him)

36 is too old, pointless giving him a contract and paying him £67,00 a week to do nothing.

It would make no business sense at all and simply won't happen. His wages will be used as part of our new strikers wages. Bentley is another we can save on, then there is Jenas and his £40,000, get rid of Gomes and suddenly we have pot loads of money to pay a striker £120,000 a week.

It starts by saying goodbye to Gallas but again I thank him for his contribution whilst he has been here, I am sure the players have learnt from him mentally.

Jenas is already gone and Bentley's contract expires in the summer so we don't need to get rid of either

I think Gomes too might be out of contract in the summer and at least part of his and Bentley's wages will currently be covered by their respective loans

Gallas will always get respect from me for his part in the clean sheets against AC Milan. He is definitely over the hill now however and I would be suprised if he is playing next season. That said I like the guy as he is passionate.

Ade is a tricky one, I love anyone who performs to the best of their ability for us, so last season he was great. This season has been poor, which I can forgive, but his attitude is shocking, even when he scored he didn't look happy. Happy to see him go in the summer to PSG,Malaga or QPR so we can move forward with a player who wants to be here.

Parker is ok in my books and can stay all he wants. Fantastic last season, getting back to his best bar that last performance, we will need an understudy to Sandro.

Gallas has at times been immense and that should never be forgotten.
Yes he is getting to the stage in his career where he is making more mistakes and as a result he is unlikely to have much if a p,saying future at spurs beyond this season, coaching role maybe?

But people should not forget what he has brought to our club, much like Edgar David's did. Passion, ability and a winning mentality that at times we sorely lacked. Gallas cared and still does.

He deserves criticism for poor performances just like anyone else, but people, let us not forget the good things he has done and there have been many.

Proper professional.

maybe he was just relieved to have scored since new years, gotten a monkey off his back. Perhaps he was just massively knackered after over 100 minutes of football, considering his strike partner did fack all for an hour previously. Or perhaps he was disappointed in his own performance as well as his teammates, or maybe all of the above.

Just because he didnt run around like a looney tune or smile doesnt mean he actually didnt care about finally scoring
