Beckford is not good enough for a top 10 premiership team. If he played in week in week out, premiership defenders will learn very quickly how to look after him.

he missed all his decent chances when put through and only managed to scramble in a messy goal from 2 yards under the nose of jenas, whose nose was incidently under 2 eyes which were asleep at the time and for the rest of the game for that matter! and scored a pen........woah thats hard from 12 yards! isn't it Mr Defoe!!!!

I'm not an expert on Beckford, I don't know if he is good or enough or not, but at the moment we have four strikers who I think are good enough. I don't think another striker is a pressing concern. Defensively we looked shocking.

My main concern that Harry isn't getting the best out of the squad we have.

i don't remember the above 3 being part of the deluded 'backlash' but i'm happy to add you to it if you seriously think that keane offers more of a goal threat than beckford

To be fair DC, the first goal was a scramble and the second was a penalty. You still need to put them away, but he didn't look anything special. Maybe I'm wrong, but I wouldn't replace any of our strikers with him
