Lamela has been given his first start in the league since Sherwoods appointment, Adebayor and Bentaleb have been bought in. Holtby, Eriksen, Chadli, Lennon and Townsend have all had a start. Literally the only player to have not been given a crack yet is Capoue.

We can only play 11 players at any one time.

You see by being forced to play Jan and Naughton at LB, AVB would be forced to make some other bad team decisions. Also remember that Jan hates being played at LB and Naughton should have been Leftback at the training centre cafeteria. All this was TS masterplan to take over the team.

As far fetched as it sounds, if it was actually true it wouldn't surprise me.

Even BAE twitted that he would be back soon weeks before AVB left. The knives have been out for a long time I feel for AVB.

Did someone ITK mention that the board wanted AVB out sooner rather than later but got caught out by AVB doing so well in his first year or something.
