Please, forget about the shirt sales. No player in the world would ever justify his fee through Spurs shirt sales.
Yes, some select clubs can in fact rely substantially on shirt sales. We can't.
Clubs like Tottenham only make money from shirt sales if they are sold from club shop & online sales.. They make the money from the deal they have with the shirt manufacturer.. Son would be good in that respect because the manufacturers would know they could sell a sh*t load in Korea.. so we could negotiate a larger Shirt Manufacturing deal when we look to renew.

Imagine Jeremy Peace's face if this news breaks in England!

Seriously though, Lamela out and Son in would be great business.

Then wait and see if Leverkusen drop out of the CL and try for the double deal with Bender/Kramer!

Not gonna lie, I thought this about Eriksen, Chadli, Lamela and Soldado 2 years ago.

That sorta went tits up...

That's because you didn't really think about it and consider the balance between them (unfortunately, those in charge also clearly didn't think it through sufficiently). If you look at that group, you see quality, but you see an extreme lack in balance and far too much similarity. As such, there's already a massive difference between this former group and the proposed new one. Much more balance, much more dynamism, and actually featuring very different types of players.

It's clearly going to turn our that there's some Arsenal fan doing work experience at the Kolner Stadt-Anzeiger and he's just on a massive wind-up.

Been a fan of his for a long time. Incredibly hard working player, very good technically. Reminds me a lot of Van Persie.

Speedy lad by all accounts and we need that on the wing. Hope the rumours he's having his medical are true but I never believe until it's on the official THFC site.

I've seen him play plenty of times and whilst he is somewhat raw, he's scored lots of goals for Leverkusen and brilliant goals at that. Unlike young Andros, when Son shoots from distance there's a good chance it goes in.

Tottenham are set to bid €30m (£21.9m) for Bayer Leverkusen striker Heung-Min Son, according to German publication KSTA Sport.

Spurs have been heavily linked with a number of strikers this summer as they desperately look to ease the burden on Harry Kane.

The Premier League outfit have already had two bids rejected for West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino and are stepping up their search for forwards by targeting the South Korea international.

Son, whose contract still has three years to run at Leverkusen, is reportedly on his way to Spurs to a complete a medical ahead of completing a deal before the transfer window closes next week.

Whenever I've seen him I haven't been overly impressed. Hardly an expert though. Would much rather Berahino as he has EPL experience. If we sign son as a replace, met for Lamela then that's a different matter, I'd be happy with that as I doubt he'd be any less effective.

We need a winger, striker and midfielder. The rest of the squad can be filled with youth players from the academy.

If this lad is the winger, Berahino is the striker and an experienced head is the holding modfielder then that would be a good window, not a great one but a good one nonetheless.

He is an upgrade on Lamela... Or at least I think so.
Well how does he compare to the Lamela that we signed from Roma? Afterall there was similar hype about Lamela before he came over. The only thing I would be optimistic about is that the Bundesliga is better for transitioning over the Premier League than the Serie A.
