To get an exemption, Korean footballers have to win a medal in Olympics and championship in Asian Game. No Asian Cup.

Would Levy really pay £20m for a player that will most likely lose serious value due to having to complete 2 years of military service at some point in the next 4 or 5 years?

Seems unlikely to me.

Been trawling through the German press a bit on this and am pretty sure the story has legs - even if the already being at Spurs for a medical part of story seems to be bollocks

Particularly as one source is talking about Bayer already negotiating with Shalke about his replacement (Max Meyer).

Can he not do it in his early to mid 30`s?

Well, he did buy Soldado. And that went against all previous expectations of what Levy deems as a good buy.

Only man that knows is Danny boy.

Interestingly Sky Germany have gone from dismissing the news due to him being in the squad to us having a £22m bid accepted. Must be legs in this.

If we can sort out distribution of shirt sales in Korea and agree some sponsorship deals off the back of this it will practically pay for itself.

Will be following their game tonight with interest, you could imagine we have brought up Kramer and Bender in discussions.

Wonder if this could eventually tie in as far as stadium naming rights from an Asian / Korean company.

Starting to get a bit excited about this one now, would be a great buy if we can get it over the line. Would we still sign Berahino too? Push Dembele back into midfield?

Why the hell are people talking about naming rights and shirt sales! I only care what he does on the pitch!
