Ive had a chat with a German colleague. He doesn't support Leverkuson but very positive about Son thinking he would be a good signing.

Can't see it being a problem...just as long as Poch knows the Korean for 'just farkin get out there and run around a bit'
I'm sure some of our players can speak German Wimmer for example and bet the Belgians or Eriksen can to

Plays with Vertonghen
He hates Kim Jong Un
Please don't take my Son Heung away.

Don't get me wrong I'm really glad that we might sign him but is anyone else concerned that we seem to be buying players (in son and n'jie) that predominately played on the left for their previous clubs while we have chadli in that position.

I'm assuming they will be used on the right but should we not be looking for players that are currently playing on the right for their teams?

Reports in Germany from their SD confirms we are in talks over a 18 Million Pound deal, and whilst a medical has been planned for him, Leverkusen will only sell on their terms, which to me means they are holding out to see whether they can get Meyer in or not:

Posting the Sky version, A simialr article was posted on Bild but don't want to linky without translation.

I've been moist for Son for a long time, i'd be absolutely stoked if we can get him in.

He's just as comfortable playing on the right as he is on the left. He's one of the most two-footed players around. Played mainly on the right for Hamburg.

I know Son can play well on both wings. He is predominantly used off the left for Leverkusen but can do just as good of a job on the right AFAIK.

I was about to say the same thing, he played on the Right for Hamburg and now on the Left for Leverkusen, very versatile little wing forward for us to add to the ranks. Should add something different to our line-up.

I'd be very happy with this.

A genuinely two footed player.

Said to be a hard worker, which we need as some of our attacking players can be right lazy fuckers *cough* Chadli *cough* Eriksen.

He can also play either wing or up top.

And he's 6 foot 1, always nice to have height in team.

There are quotes from Calhanoglu about something like they or he will regret the departure of Son, so seems like it's edging closer

I think this was a post-match interview and relates to his absence from the CL qualifier. Not necessarily his departure.
