It's not that arrogant is it?Arrogant toss pot! (you, not calhanoglu)
(no wait, Calhanoglu, not you )
Leverkusen are into the CL group stages, where as Spurs? Our history is only relevant to us.

I think this was a post-match interview and relates to his absence from the CL qualifier. Not necessarily his departure.
Did anyone pick up the Samsung sponsorship after Chelsea? Leverkeusen has LG until the end of this season.
Both would be exponentially larger than AIA.
Nope, was about his departureI think this was a post-match interview and relates to his absence from the CL qualifier. Not necessarily his departure.
One, the Sons leaving no taste, is teammate Hakan Calhanoglu. The director speculated after the rise in the Champions League group stage responded to Son: "I think he is ill-advised." Attempts of Turks to make contact with his mate failed: ".. I have written to him, called him, but he has not gone to his phone I am very sad, clear the whole team is a bit disappointed," said Calhanoglu further ,
"You have to make their own decisions"
Supposedly Sons father have made pressure on the offensive whirlwind to leave Leverkusen. "When you're 23 years old, of course you have respect for his father," said Calhanoglu, but added:. "But you have to sometime sometimes make their own decisions, we were there for him always why we were sad Everyone has tried.. to reach him, but he is not expected range. "
Even Captain Lars Bender found it "astonishing that he was no longer there at once." In the 26-year-olds, the grief over the imminent departure keeps obviously within limits, "Player Change club, which now comes before time If he does, then he is not a part of this team more.."
Son had been missing on Tuesday when the final training for the duel with Lazio, without the team knew the reason why.
You see them in Argos innit? Why?
If its just absence from CL qualifier - why would he say ill advised ?
So do you guys think that this will be instead of Berahino?
You're concerned we're buying players in Chadli's position??! I'm relieved!Don't get me wrong I'm really glad that we might sign him but is anyone else concerned that we seem to be buying players (in son and n'jie) that predominately played on the left for their previous clubs while we have chadli in that position.
I'm assuming they will be used on the right but should we not be looking for players that are currently playing on the right for their teams?
I personally only give credibility to league stats. I'd be surprised if they didn't reinforce your point further. Goals against some Cypriot fishermen or Grimsby fishermen count for very little.Well, it looks like we are looking to replace our attacking wide players with ones who score goals.
N'Jie (8 goals in 30 games last season)
Son (17 goals in 42 games last season)
Lamela (5 goals in 42 games last season)
Lennon (1 goal in 33 games in 2013/14 season)
Townsend (5 goals in 35 games last season)
For comparison ...
Chadli (13 goals in 45 games last season)
What's your gripe with Cypriot fishermen?! The Cypriot standard has actually risen to a high level over the past 5-7 years. They're in the CL more than us!I personally only give credibility to league stats. I'd be surprised if they didn't reinforce your point further. Chadli is good in flashes every other game. Nowhere near good enough in terms of application/effort and consistency. And this is his 3rd year now. No "he's still bedding in" nonsense.
The fact that Chadli has more goals than Lennon, Townsend and Lamela is hardly Balon d'Or winning statistics. He's currently the best option on the left of a very sorry bunch. That doesn't mean he doesn't warrant upgrading. He's still one of the players in our team more likely to produce something.
I'd never turn my nose up at the prospect of improving in any position (except goalkeeper, which is nigh-on impossible) but for all Chadli's faults only Eriksen can match his output from midfield.

Talking about being shameless. Isn't this the same Calhanoglu, who feigned illness, refused to play and went missing in order to force the move from Hamburg?Team mate Calhanoglu on Son leaving Bayer Leverkusen - "The whole team is pretty disappointed. but it's not his fault, he is a fine fellow. I think he is ill-advised"
I'd be very happy with this.
A genuinely two footed player.
Said to be a hard worker, which we need as some of our attacking players can be right lazy fuckers *cough* Chadli *cough* Eriksen.
He can also play either wing or up top.
And he's 6 foot 1, always nice to have height in team.
Son on the bench? So you think Poch wants to replace our bench options and not the first XI?he did get 1 goal in 3 from a WF position in the league last season. I'd say getting someone to replicate that on the other flank, and having another player to come off the bench and impact a game (whether Chadli, Son, Alli, Pritchard or N'Jie), is what Poch intends to do.
