Gems from Arsenal-Mania:

Valencia aint ****, but Schalke team is quite quality tbf (Raul, Jurado, Huntelaar, Farfan etc). Spuds have been very jammy this season, think about it, they really should have been thrown out by Young Boys but got lucky, then got very lucky against Twente and Inter at home. Bremen is a no brainer, pathetic this season and absolutely struggling with injuries. Got a lucky break against Milan and held on today despite being dominated.

I think they will struggle against any team, Schalke is obviously the weakest but by no means will it be a walkover. Btw, you will be surprised by how good Shaktar is this season. Roma is pathetic obviously, but those brazilians are no pushovers

Tottenham certainly wont be favourites against any team. Bremen have been piss poor this season and Inter have fallen apart after Mourinho left. Schalke have been poor in the Bundesliga but pretty decent in Europe. Shakhthar is a really good team nowadays, one that could beat anyone on their day and certainly dont have to hide. Of all the teams left, Id have highest hopes on them to knock Barca out.

Spurs might reach the Semis but it wont be easy.

That would be a fairly tame CL wave then fabo?
They scraped past a Milan side that even Man U annihilated last season..

Their PL run is losing momentum fast - they've only taken 12 points from a possible 24 in their last 8 games.

Only impressive if you rate Inter and AC this season fabo- which I don't.

They are feeble versions of their former selves.
Living on their reputation at the moment.
Serie A is not what it used to be.
The money and the quality has moved elsewhere.

hope spurs get barca - barca will rip dawson and co to bits

(And Arsenal did so awesomely well against Barça!)

Milan's 2nd half performance was pathetic. They did well to keep the game at 0-0 leading into the final stages. The onus was then on them to go and get a goal and they never got out of first gear. Bringing on Merkel and Strasser made absolutely no sense, get goal scorers on ffs.

Spuds drew to the worst team left in the tournament tonight - no question.

ANY of the other teams left in the comp would have outed Milan emphatically.

I expect whoever Spuds draw to knock them out tbh.

I'm sure there will be much more from Mong Central at:

Absolutely no business talking about the strength of our group....which was generally acknowledged as one of the toughest....look at the state of the group they had which they finished second and got punished for doing so...

wankers.

Who cares what fans of the filth think? We are in the last 8, they aren't. Plus, they won't win the league.

Fuck 'em.

Yeah arsenal fans we were lucky, we had an easy group to start with; how unfortunate were you lot to end up with 2 eastern european teams and one from portugal, seems like they got a raw deal and did well to even qualify..
Anyway, hope they enjoy watching highlights of van persie's shot, or fabregas's backheel whilst we go marching on..

They draw Barca - they will be destroyed

I love this, from the AC Milan forum:

I fucking despise the English.

Their men are fucking idiots and their women are sluts. I can't wait till the Euros come and they get fucked again and again and again. And moan like the fuckers they are. Seriously they are the scum of the world, scum of humanity, and scum of creation.

They are even too ugly to look at. They are too damaging for the eyes and the brains with their yellow fugly teeth and their fucking red/purple/pink/god knows what colored faces from all their fucking drinking. Which reminds me, their words suck... "hey lad, let's go grab ourselves some booze mate! What a fucking tosser you are!" Who the fuck talks like that? Seriously? They all look so ****ish and deserve to get a big fucking beating... to see them suffer is a joy that is so huge that almost the entire planet celebrates whenever their fucking joke of a national team gets raped in any international/continental/friendly competition.

Fuck off Tottenham. Fuck off Redknapp. Fuck off Joe Jordan aka the big ****. Fuck off England. Fuck off ref. Fuck off CROUCH.

FORZA MILANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!

Spurs are awful - rivalry aside, I'm glad they're going out of the CL. They're not good enough to be in it.

...Oh yeah, that was posted August 17th, 2010.

If only Arsenal were in the Charity Shield (and lost) then could sing the old "5, 4, 3, 2 NONE! Dugga Dugga, Dugga Dugga Dugga 5, 4, 3, 2 NONE!

Arsenal have again won nothin' 5, 4, 3, 2 NONE! (maybe could replace it with 4, 3, 2, 1 NONE!, but doesn't quite fit)

I'll always remember the crooning renditions of "you've lost that double feeling, Wooohh that double feeling, you've lost that double feeling now it's gone gone gone Aahaway...

Over the next few months I hope to hear: Spurs are so lucky, Real Madrid aren't the team they used to be. Spurs are so lucky, Man Utd had a lot of injuries and the ref robbed them. I can't believe how lucky Spurs are! Barca played the worst they have ever played today! I can't believe Spurs are champions.
