I know Toby has played a lot of games but we have a three week break...

Decent team nonetheless

Hopefully more attacking and more fluid and can hammer them

I would have liked Alderweireld but the only one I'm not sure about is Lucas really. Just hope he's not anonymous and gets involved in the play.

He scored against them at Wembley. They're not exactly that physical, in theory this should be a good game for Lucas.

Would like to see a lot more from Eriksen today. If he purs we'll take that Southampton side apart.

Lucas needs to step up today, he needs to prove to Poch and the staff why he should start

Yeah agreed. All the ability is there really, it just needs to be shown a lot more than it is IMO.

Yeah I hope you're right mate! I would just like to see him searching the ball out a bit more and squaring players up, looking to run with it. Feels like it's been a while since we've seen him doing this. Seems like he's been just kind of floating around inside and getting the few touches here and there.

Agree. There's something not quite clicking with him, hopefully we see a bit more from him today.

Just needs to be a bit more determined imo, aggressive even.

He needs to step up. He’s been absolute baboon dribble for the last couple of months. If Poch is handing him back a chance, then he needs to hump the life out of it

Yeah something hasn't quite clicked yet and unfortunately as a result we're not getting the best out of him. And yeah I've always thought he has a kind of laboured jog and doesn't have that aggression and determination like seen from some others. Anyway I don't wish to get at him too much, I think most of us just know there's a damn good player in there. Hopefully it's an improved performance today and it will be good going forward in the latter stages of the season to have him in good form.

Actually really like the team.

For starters I hate 3 at the back.

Hopefully Kane is pushed right up front centrally, I feel he could get a hat trick today if so.

Glad to see KWP get a chance.

Shame no Son but he looked like he needed a rest.

Will any right back not named Trippier ever play consecutive games?

Only surprise for me is not to see Toby start otherwise I think that's a solid starting line up.

Someone’s got to keep Poch company in the stands and besides it finally gives Poch some privacy in discussing Toby’s new contract with him (without the pesky eavesdropping from the other players).

Want to see Lucas staying wide for the most part today, and being judicious when choosing to come inside. What I don't want to see is him playing centrally, furthest forward, with Harry playing behind him: no thank you, sir.
