Oh dear, what has Mr MTV-generation-attention-span got his mind on now? Haven't we been here before? Dougal has bright idea, Dougal reaches weekend and gets drunk before vistiing a hangover thread, Dougal forgets bright idea. Yes, many a time

So I need a shove in the right direction as I keep letting myself down and you people are going to shove me (cliff edges not involved). It's a 5k run in aid of the Bobby Moore Fund for Bowel Cancer Research. Never heard of the bloke myself. Apparently he is famous for wearing red and getting carried around on other bloke's shoulders holding some Junior Darts Finalist runners up cup or something. I'm a bit sketchy on the details.

Anyhoo... It's time to dig, and thankfully, not too deep. It's a tough time for a lot of people financially and no-one really wants to give a lot of money to some overweight eejit to run around a bit of London so here's the deal. It you can spare big bucks, great! If you can't, just pop a couple of quid, a fiver, the cost of a pint I'm sure you'd buy me if you ever met me, or throw over me if you had met me :) Many smaller donations would keep pace with a few big ones and I'm not too proud to run for a pound, as long as 100 people had each chipped in a pound

And here's another get out clause for the financially frought forum dweller! Fellas, if you don't want to sponsor me, run with me and raise your own money!

Hang about! I donated yesterday, as have a few others. If you check out your donation page on the Cancer Research website there was about 80 quid on there yesterday.

That would be the Chat thread, there's one there and one here in Spurs Chat :)

Although I don't think I got your donation  (Unless you're 'Mother'? )

I did get your rep though

Mine should be there from, er, soup!

I did it through paypal on the PS3 as my better half was using the laptop, so a bit of an experiment to be honest, but it should be there.

Send me a PM if it's definitely not there and I'll resend it.
