A very good result vs Chavs and still under the radar for now outside top four.

Leicester getting all the media pressure.

1. We remain unbeaten since for as long as I can Remember

2. It has been too many years since i read on independent websites that our opponents' supporters ( sky 4) felt that a draw with us was a "great result"

3. See the old cliche - form is temporary, class is permanent.

4. We were playing the current EPL champions. OK they are not at the top of their game at moment but they had 1shot on goal.

5. How far have we come, hold your heads high my fellow Lilywhites for we are in for exciting times ahead

I agree, its all great. However there are always fans that will say, "Yes we're unbeaten in the last 13 games, but we've drawn half of them. We probably should have won more". Others will say, "Yes we drew at home to Chelski, but they were 15th in the league, playing crap and were there for the taking. That would have been another 3 points if we didn't have the counter productive distration that is the Europa League".

I'm not saying that I agree with these fans, they're clearly glass half full types. Miserable sods to the last! ;)

Chelsea still have brilliantly talented individuals Willian was outstanding as was Hazard. And they would have beaten most teams on that performance. A draw was a good result.

I think it really showed how important Dele Alli has become for us. We really missed his all action energy, both driving us forward and pressing the ball in the final third. Mason was neat and tidy (until off) but not the same dynamism to his game.

I'm peeed off with our consistently preferring short corners though, probably because we only put 1 decent corner in the box out of every 3.
Agreed. Our wasteful corner taking was very 'old spurs'. I kept thinking we'd regret being so careless. On another day, we might.

I'll take that !!.... just two days recovery time and one days preparation.
A year ago we would have been spanked by Chelski after playing on thursday, so we are definitely improving, learning and moving forward.

In past years we would have got spanked by Chelski without having played on Thursday.

Pisses me off how so many of Eriksen's corners hit the first man. He's really good at free kicks on goal, but crosses and corners isn't his best tbh.

This is all true. These same supporters will never be content with us. No matter how well we play, we could beat Chelsea by 5, they would say we were lucky on 3 of those goals. Even if we won the league, they would be shaking there heads, knowingly, and declare, we should wait until we've successfully defended the title before we get carried away!

It's nice to see how our mentality has changed. We now play like a top 4 team, playing our own game and expecting the other teams to try and stop us! I'm loving this run were on its installing so much confidence it our team it's untrue. For me, we are only a couple of top top players away from competing at the top

Coupled with being 10pts clear of Chelscum and have 19 goal difference between us......makes me laugh.

How many points were we ahead of the Gooners a few seasons ago with only a handful of matches left? 12 if I'm not wrong. We went on to concede 4th place to them at the end of the season. So i aint laughing yet dude. Smiling maybe, but damn sure aint laughing yet.

It's a decent result, I would definitively have taken a draw at kick off. Chelski are going to improve so even with a ten point lead finishing ahead of them is far from a sure thing. In years gone by after a long away trip on Thursday we'd probably have folded against the champions on Sunday but there was no sign of that. We're improving in so many ways as a team, the mentality is different. If this carries on this side can go a long way.
With another striker maybe.
