27m is a bit more like it but probably still nowhere near the amount Levy would be looking for to push on with the scheme ASAP

3.5m on WHL but only 0.2m on Northumberland Park??

3.5m on Tottenham Hale?? Who uses Tottenham Hale on match day or maybe this is more of a general community scheme and it needs to be greatly improved

Still a drop in the ocean compared to the money and support the scum received

The money is part of a regeneration scheme for the whole of Tottenham, not just to facilitate our new ground. Hale station needs improving because it's going to get a lot more use with all the development that's going on around there.

Naming Rights have been in negotiation for over three months. Its middle east, and its an airline.

is it possible for one company to have the naming rights to two 2 teams in the same league?

The Emirates Stadium Lite (assuming we stick to having a smaller capacity than them lot)

I wonder if this news on the 31st January is to cushion the blow of us not signing anyone major this transfer window?!

Cynical, maybe?!

I think it's pretty much nailed on to be Qatar Air - seeing as both Emirates (Saudi) and Etihad (Abu Dhabi) are there, Qatar will want a piece of it too, especially with their World Cup on the horizon.

Naming rights?

White Hart Lane?

I don't want the stadium to be called anything else.

Great news for the club and local community, we can finally get the ball moving and improving.

Are any of us likely to really call it by the sponsors name? Given that it has always been the Lane, and is now in fact going to be bang opposite White Hart Lane itself? Do Geordies really call St James' the Sports Direct Arena or whatever it is now?

It's funny how much advertising works, Gooners all call their gaf the Emirates, I guess it is a bit different because it is not on the site of Highbury, and Ashburton Grove is not catchy, Citeh fans call theirs Etihad even though they could still call it City of Manchester.

I reckon people would probably end up calling the stadium structure The Qatar Air Stadium, but would would still refer to the area around the ground as WHL, "I'm going down White Hart Lane for the match tomorrow..."

The new generation of fans ie; 10 to 16 yearolds would call it Quatar Air or whatever but no one else would and Quatar wouldn't care anyway. Its the advertising on telly they are paying for.

For 150 million to build a befitting ground, they can call it the Judaian People's Front Supporters Club for all I care!

If Levy can sort this asap he will secure his legacy.

Everything we've built at the moment is on weak foundations.

Dont most City fans call the ground Eastlands?

Im sure our new stadium would still be the Lane.
