Spurs are leaner, fitter and hungrier

All very nice but...

It occurred to me whilst reading that article that if we had held our lead against Leicester and Stoke we'd now be second in the league.

You can't get more Spursy than that!

Even so, with such a young team, the current levels of performance are excellent. The most important thing is this team is a team rather than a bunch of indivudals. Most of us can see the potential. In many respects it reminds me of the early Man U era; we just lack a Roy Keane figure really. If we can keep them together and progress in a susstainable way, we'll have a good chance of winning PL by 2020/21.

I agree about the subtext of the article but can't you just enjoy it for a change instead of just constantly moaning, these are the kind of articles we've been longing for as a fanbase, recognition of what the management are doing for this club and these are the kind of articles that we glance enviously at our rivals when they get some ill deserved praise, whether we beat City or not or stuck the point of the article is to outline the good work put into this club.

They are obviously not well fed. Hopefully they dont starve to death. I know DL is stingy but letting them go hungry is just ridiculous :D

Speaking for myself I neither long for these kind of articles neither do I glance enviously at our rivals. I care about only about what happens on the pitch.

The media will go with the flow when something is hot and then go cold in a blink of an eye. Much like a lot of supporters really.
