Tottenham can sign centre-back Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen for €18m this summer but have to activate his release clause by the beginning of July.

He’s kinda like the German Eric Dier take that for what you will. He’s big and an aerial presence but not elite, the 3rd best CB in that defense. I think the biggest issue is he lacks top end pace and agility so is prone to mistakes simply because he’s off balance. there’s a reason he’s available for €18m

that being said we became too dependent on Dier to play the CCB and deal with physical CFs, so this is a position of depth and need, and he can play with the ball at his feet. So it’s not like this would be disastrous just underwhelming.
