Did anyone else notice that over half of the pundits over there are either Spurs (4) or Arse (5). Ok, doesn't mean much, but they'll be staying there longer than most of the English that made the trip...(ok, Gus doesn't count). Although there is a distinct chance that Spurs player lifts the cup (at least a player still on the books the moment he lifts it...)

Not sure if it's in comparison to the others who are pretty dire generally but Andros seems pretty good to me. Have enjoyed watching him.

Suppose it depends on what your definition of "is Spurs" is.Lineker was born in Leicester and played for them twice as long as us. He played for Barcelona almost as much as us. Mch different from say, Mabbut,

Yeah that's true...but I'll claim all the good ones! (I suppose he thinks of himself as Leicester, if anything)

I've always assumed he was there for comic relief...certainly not for the quality of his punditry...

Townsend has been pretty decent as a pundit

Thierry Henry has been the star of the world cup though in punditry along with monkey face Keown, much as I hate both they are great pundits

Bar Townsend and Wright (I know he's Arse but do love his passion and it's a shame he had to come back home due to that burglary) I think BBC have won the contest between the two. BBC conversations just seem more natural and free, while ITV is tough to watch despite a couple good pundits.

I would rather have seen more of our players on the actual pitch
