Hi guys
Its always been a question of mine as to how fans of Spurs live their lives, especially those who now have to travel from outside areas. I was wondering if anyone wanted to share a little bit about themselves and how they manage to get to games? Im a Custom Engraver/Artist by trade. I spend some of my life on the island of Jersey and some at home in sunny Sutton Coldfield. Getting to WHL is a very costly affair so Ive had to give up a season ticket and just go when I can. I work 9 months of the year and have 3 months off to spend my hard earned on women,, sun and the rest I waste. My two :bowdown:are Leicester Tigers and Spurs so my weekends can be more hectic than the week itself. Still, passion is passion and I wouldnt have it any other way. How do you lads get to games from outside of London? If you dont, how do you get to see games?

I'm in Ipswich and I've been driving/driven to games every week for the last eight seasons, home and away, far and wide.

I grew up in north London, between Muswell Hill and Wood Green, right next to Alexandra Palace (a mere W3 bus ride from WHL). As with the poster above me, my family is from London and Argentina (Buenos Aires though... not Cordoba).

I still live around Muswell Hill.

I grew up in Barry, S. Wales, and fell in love with the mighty Spurs in the 60's. Lived in London for 7 years from the age of 19. I'm a Probation Officer and now live in Belfast. Was over at 5 games last season. Paid £200 for a ticket for the Arsenal game. We lost 1 - 3, remember? COYS

i'm in Malaysia, and I try to go to matches as often as i possibly can, which is only once so far, way back in 1988....hehehehe.

Jokes aside, being a Spurs fan from as far away as Malaysia does not make me less of a fan than one who lives in North London. I believe I share the same passion as you lucky guys in London.

Very ironic, I live in Plumstead, close to the sewer that originally formed the goal-end terrace of the scums home before the library.

The sewer is covered over now and forms a footpath, however, in the days when they played there the sewer was apparently open and stunk like hell.

Have lived on the Islington/Haringey border all my life, a stones throw from the Emirates. Currently working in despatch for a reputable Wallpaper Producer. Hoping at some point to coach Junior football either here or in the States, I am currently a volunteer coach for a local youth team.

Winchmore Hill - roughly 40min walk to WHL if I can be arsed which is more and more given the traffic.
Previously in St Ives Cambs which made life difficult getting to WHL every other week

Lived in Richmond, London. Recently moved back to Denmark where I've started as a shipping trainee. I plan to back to my beloved London as soon as I'm done with my trainee.

Therefore I have to watch our boys on TV these days :-(

Live in Ilford, converted to Tottenham at an early age by my granddad - all my mum;s family are from Edmonton/Southgate/Palmers Green/Wood Green, so I didn't have a chance! Though my dad is from Dublin, and when he came over as a young man also followed the mighty Spurs, and visited WHL practically every week.

Apart from obsessing over Tottenham, I'm doing a PhD in cognitive psychology and have a young daughter (nearly 2).

I was brought up in Tottenham and now live in Kent. The drive takes about an hour and a half providing the Dartford tunnel is behaving itself. :hello:

LOL, I guess I pick up where Shaymus leaves them. Also from N. Ireland in a town called Bangor about 15 miles outside of Belfast. I work as a Community Safety Officer (hence the pick up where he left comment:)).

Real name is Stuart, 36 years old, and I got a 22 month old daughter and my son will be arriving in this world in October:cheers:

edit: oh yeah, I forgot the Spurs stuff. Been suppoting Spurs since my late teens strangely (before that I hated football!!). Since then I have been making up for lost time and am now a complete Spurs and football junkie (as my bookie will testify to). Try to make it over to the Lane as much as possible as my brother lives in London but it's bloody expensive to travel from here, especially with a new family:bang:

Born in Gillingham, though I have never actually seen it, as I was taken to South Africa as a baby. Now I am living in Dublin. Am a member and go to a home Spurs match every other month with another board member here - Bromavinci/Abospur. Whatever he calls himself these days.

Wigan at home is the first game this season. Can't wait!

Born and grew up in South Tottenham, still living here in North London. I'd say roughly a 10-15 minute walk at a push to WHL and maybe 5-10 depending on traffic with the bus.

I have been a supporter since as long as i can remember, grew up with all my Family supporting Tottenham bar the odd Man Utd/Arsenal/Liverpool supporters. I watched games from an early age with my Dad who was one of the reasons why i liked Spurs so much as he is an avid supporter and went when he was young with his Dad.
