Hey hey. I met up with some old uni mates on Saturday for our old tradition of watching the first day of the season together (its always easy for me as Spurs are never at home on the first day of the season) and went through the same frustrating afternoon as I'm sure so many of you did.
However, amongst the Arsenal and Liverpool fans I went to uni with, I was accompanied by a fellow Spurs fan who pissed me off more than any of the others. "Aww we're going down this season", he moaned when Wheater scored. I told him not to be so stupid and to shut up, but he continued (unaware of the beating I was to give him moments later), "Yeah we are. We've lost loads of players and brought nobody in". I couldn't be bothered to respond as I thought his comments were too stupid to dignify with any further dialogue. But it got me thinking, living in Milton Keynes, I know dozens of Arsenal fans, Chelsea fans (who of course sprung up from nowhere about 4 years ago), Liverpool fans , Man U fans etc. But sometimes, its the other Spurs fans I meet who really make me want to throw something at them. :bang:
Do any of the rest of you experience the same feeling of "shut up shut up shut up" when one of your fellow Spurs supporting mates decides to give his 2 cents worth on issues which, often, they clearly know so little about?
