I'm signed up to the majority of Spurs pages on Facebook - they are generally pretty good during the actual season. Last summer though I had to unsubscribe from pretty much all of them during the transfer window as it was non-stop Levy-bashing and people putting up posts like:

"Why don't levy just fackin sign up Messi Cavani Falcao Zlatan Isco Benteke Lukaku the stingy **** he don't never spend no fackin money"

I signed back up to a few during the season then started seeing shit like:

"Just fackin sell them ****s Soldado and Lamela they just useless ****s get some proper players in like Benteke innit"

I tend to avoid most of them now, and just occasionally end up pointing out when people are being retarded. At least on Facebook you can out these pricks in public. But yeah it's depressing to discover that genuinely about 75% of Spurs fans are total and utter knuckle-dragging morons.

At least it's good to know that 99.99% Gooners fit that description.

He's just banned someone for literally disagreeing with him on Redknapp.

He posted a picture of Derby with the message 'come on you rams' and then something along the lines of 'let's hope the weasel saggychops loses his job'. One of the posters pointed out Harry led us to 2 x 4th place finishes and that he deserves a little bit more respect than that, then the owner said 'let it fucking go, Harry's in the past' and banned him, even though he brought it up himself, as he does pretty much every day. He even started a thread called 'If QPR lose, Harry will get the sack, Levy wouldn't would he.....' literally hours earlier. Such a horrendous hypocrite. I don't think I've hated any other football fan online as much as him.

Yesterday morning he posted a big big shpiel about how he's cracking down on racist jokes and comments. Yesterday evening, in response to a picture of a sheep/ram with a comment about him shagging it, he replied 'I ain't Welsh'.

I'll try that Glory Glory. I don't want another forum as such, this one's more than enough, but because I pop on to fb throughout the day, it'd be nice to browse some Spurs related stuff on there.

glory glory on fb was ok, some very good posters and seemed less cliquey than this place can be on occasion. But there wasn't imo as much humour or football knowledge on there as there is on here, lots of very good posters on a range of topics at sc. So i chose here, don't have time for two. I avoid fb supporters group pages now so cant help bomber there but maybe try gg fb.

I wouldn't say this place is cliquey to be honest

It's not cliquey - it's more that some of us have been around for some years so there is a kind of "understanding" in our posts because of regular interaction. Newcomers who get into the swing of SC can soon feel like part of the family. It depends on how much they contribute and respond to other members of the forum.

I did wonder what YankSpurs does when he's not on here ;)

To be honest, I think they're just as bad as eachother for stuff like that. When used properly, they're excellent. But as we all know, there's thousands and thousands of ****s around who use social media (and YouTube!) to spout off personal abuse & racist views.

YouTube is the worst by far. Some of the stuff you read on there...

I've liked a lot of Spurs FB Groups/Pages and reading a lot of them, I've come to the conclusion that 90% of Spurs fans on it, are fucking idiots and should be put down.

The only page I follow is the official Spurs one, and that is more than enough. A majority of the comments/opinions when I have a read of them are just completely bonkers.

It's still bugging me. Just to show what a farce he is...

His name's Darryl. This was his muscle flexing post

So, no personal abuse right?

Except homophobic abuse, apparently... His response to someone saying they didn't rate Pochettino was;

But that was a one off, right? No personal abuse you said...

Twice in that screenshot! That was for someone saying something nice about Redknapp btw.

This is him saying 'no racism'

And in the same thread....

Lastly, one more awesome bit of hypocrisy.

Starts off well...

Then, re Vertonghen...

On conclusion, he is a ....

There was one a few years ago which was quite a good read, not too much interaction as I think Facebook has changed since then, but it chronicled all the Spurs collapses, last minute deaeats or victories turned into draws, or games where we were hanging on and hanging on. Was quite funny looking back at all the games we threw away.

Think it was called something like 'Why supporting Spurs is a nightmare' or 'Why supporting Spurs gives you a heart attack'

When the Spurs Go Marching in is really the only good one. It's really quite similar to here tbh. I think it's because its a 'secret' group which means that it's not in public view & you have to be invited to join.

GGTH (glory glory Tottenham Hotspur) is also ok but too big so quite alot of real dummies that you have to wade through

Joined up with the group, just to see what it's all about. And he is a hypocritical twat. Put something up earlier about Chadli scoring, and blasted Jan.

The Glory Glory one just seems to be blokes publishing interesting articles. That's all I ever read.

This place is more than enough for me in terms of onions and banter.

Is this really hooligans kicking off?

They're just throwing things at each other from a distance and running off...
