Bergwijn's availability has alerted the attention of Ajax, with Dutch publication Telegraaf stating a £15m bid has been sent to Tottenham. However, the report adds that Tottenham immediately rejected the offer as they're holding out for a bigger fee.

Even in a somewhat deflated market, 15m is clearly a lowball offer for a young attacking player from the Prem who isn't fundamentally shite

I'd rather keep Bergwijn and train and play him as RWB than buy Traore for the same position.

Except that Bergwijn allegedly wants to go back to Holland for family reasons and Traore allegedly wants to play for us.

If that's true then I accept it's not going to happen for him with us. But that aside I'd see Bergwijn being able to adapt to RWB better than Adama
