As you've discovered your chances are better at tottenhamhotspur.no.

When I was in Bodo I looked for a pub showing our match, came nowhere close to finding one. Went disappointed back to my hotel room, and discovered canal+ on the telly. Then Keane scored, but we eventually lost against Toons :( Boohoo.

Any of you guys want to explain Norwegian tax rates to me?

Looks like I'll be staying longer than 6 mths......

How much am I likely to pay on a salary of NOK553,000.00 a year?

As I understand http://www.skatteetaten.no/Templates/Artikkel.aspx?id=74777&epslanguage=NO, it will break down like this:

553,000 income,

553,000 - 67,000 = 486,000 general income

Municipal tax 28%: (486k - 38850*) x 28% = 125202 kr
*"class withdrawal" - whatever the fuck that is

"Top tax" 9% of income above 420,000 = (553,000-420,000)*9% = 11970 kr

"Trydgeavgift": 7,8% of income = 553,000*7,8% = 43134 kr

= 180306 kr

Then there's heaps of things that you can withdraw from your income, but I know jack shit about that.

www.taxadministration.no suddenly appeared though. They might know more than me. I've never paid a krone.

Not sure, was I swearing a lot, and did I have longish hair? I have been watching the last few games at the British Lion.

Do you know anywhere showing the Spartak game this week?

Oi!

So, where are you Bergenfolk watching the game on Sunday?

Scotsman/Lion/Dubliner/Fotball Pub?

More importantly, which one will be the Yid pub?

Scotsman is nearest for me but am undecided.

Wemberlee! :D

Scotsman was great last year - almost no Chelsea supporters, but that is bound to be different this time.

I would certainly not watch it at Fotballpuben though.

True, I have found Fotballpuben to be disappointing.

Although i have tended towards the Lion in recent times, we seem to win more when I watch it there.

Half the people that are at Fotballpuben for our matches will also be there for Arsenal's. And at half past eight in the morning (when the beers are cheaper btw), etc, etc. ;)

Think the "Sportscafe" will be your best bet. Located around the edge of Vågen (the "minifjord".) Champs will also be an option.

Used to live in Oslo 2000-2007, good memories of cup nights in Bohemen! Still good for games?
still decent but not comparable to the seasons you mention which were great at bohemen. still a large group of spurs fans on most matches but not much singing these days...

Sad. Remember bringing my gf one night and there were probably over 100 fans at full voice, very impressive. She was taken away by the atmosphere!
