As well as watching the mighty spurs i follow a local team and they have got a friendly against a Spurs ix on tuesday night if anyone is interested apparantly there will be at least 5 first team squad players there.
Anyway it's at Hampton & Richmond Borough FC who play in the Conference south league.

I live less than 25 minutes from Hampton. I'll probably make the short trip, regardless of the squad.

A bit too far out of the way for me, but I hope we field more than 9 players.

Our Spurs XI team travel to Hampton & Richmond for their latest friendly on Tuesday night.
Tim Sherwood's squad beat Ipswich Town at Portman Road last week and now travel to the Beveree Stadium, Hampton, Middlesex for a 7.45pm kick-off.
Hampton & Richmond finished second in the Blue Square (Conference) South last season but agonisingly lost out on promotion to the Blue Square Premier after a play-off defeat to Hayes & Yeading.
TICKET DETAILS...
Prices - £10 Adults, £5 Concessions (Over 60's, Full Time Students, 12-16 year olds), £3 Under 12's.
Tickets can be purchased online from www.hamptonfc.net - direct link HERE... - by calling the club on 020 8979 2456 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 020 8979 2456 end_of_the_skype_highlighting or by visiting The Beveree Stadium, Beaver Close, off Station Rd Hampton TW12 2BX or The Jolly Coopers pub, Hampton High Street.

I love the fact that you can buy match tickets by popping into the local pub. Should try that at WHL.

Anyone go to the game? How did we get on?

There doesn't seem to be a squad confirmed on our website, but on their website it says this:

"Late last night Tottenham Hotspur confirmed to Hampton & Richmond Borough that they will be sending a strong squad to Beveree for tonight’s friendly.

Speaking on the BBC London Non-League radio show last night Alan Devonshire said ‘I’ve been speaking to Harry (Redknapp) and he has confirmed that all the players for tomorrow will have at least Football League experience, there will be no academy or youth players in the squad’

Mr. Redknapp is also expected to attend the game."

With all the players on international duty and Harry complaining about those friendlies so close to the start of the season, it'll be interesting to see who's left to play in this one. Naughton I suppose... Have the likes of Defoe played enough?

Harry lied. Squad is: Alwick, Ranieri, Smith, Butcher, Blackwood, Carroll, Parrett, Livermore, Townsend, Mason, Obika, Kane, Durojaiye, Nicholson, Byrne, Oyenuga, Dombaste.

By my reckoning only 8 of those have Football League experience, and in some cases not much. Should still be more than strong enough for the job though.

8 indeed

Naughty Harry - it's like that bit in Commando. You know, when Matrix said he'd kill Sulley last

He also lied

"What did you do with Sulley??"...

....."I let him go...."

Classic.

Almost as classic as Arnie feeding a deer with his daughter

A literally hilarious film. I could wax lyrical about the absurdity of that movie - but sadly I have shed loads of work still to do!
