A reminder that Clive Allen's Spurs XI side take on St Albans City in a pre-season friendly at Clarence Park tonight, kick-off 7.45pm.

With the first team squad on their training camp in Spain and the Academy group also preparing for the new season overseas, the Reserve team group will get their chance to shine against the Blue Square South side.
Coach Clive said: "The boys know it's not all about results in pre-season - it's about performances. Over the last few years we've had good pre-season build-ups and it bodes well for the start of the season."
Squad to follow later...

would have thought its just a normal friendly. cant see a non league side agreeing to a pretty high profile friendly that their fans cant go to

Definitely an interesting mix. Must be a kick in the teeth for players like Rocha and Gardner to see where they are in the pecking order (behind Archibald-Henville?). And as for Boateng - he seems to be 8th choice centre-mid...

so berchiche is in the squad - he was a hot prospect I was led to believe at one stage - maybe his chance will still come?

Rocha, Gardner & Boateng are most likely waiting on transfers to happen & Dervite is probably getting in another run out to help get his fitness back.

I like the idea of taking youngsters like Bostock, Oscar Jansson etc instead of players like Boateng ,Rocha,Gardner who already have shown they will never reach a top6 PL level.. At least those guys really appreciate the chance to come to Spain and can be first class players if given chances..

That must be the same Gardner who appeared 16 times in a top 5 team.
