A late, late winner against West Ham followed by a comfortable 4-0 victory against QPR that briefly put Spurs top of the Premier league glossed over two home truths for Tottenham.

We should of thrashed Sunderland though. I can understand the points but obviously we are not as fluid as we could be. It is a new manager and a new approach these things take time. Anyway are problems are not our attacking play but rather how we are at the back.

I agree entirely with were the article eventually arrives, although I certainly wouldn't have arrived in the same manner.

Highlighting the full backs in particular as being so key to our pressing game. There are 6 players ahead of them who need to be pressing far more than them, that is for sure!

Using Adebayors age as an excuse, is 29 past it these days?

Singling out Paulinho and Lennon seemed an easy thing to do rather than actually justified.

For much of the game at Upton Park, West Ham had been the more dangerous side, and Spurs would have gone away happy with a point, and QPR are not a great side and will find it hard to avoid relegation.
It's quite common for a team that has an extra man to be the more dangerous side, and regardless of how bad QPR may be, they still have to beaten; and we did beat them: 4-0 as I recall.

Completely negative article clutching at straws to execute a hatchet job. Wish I hadn't bothered to read it.

Under pochs system the full backs are supposed to be more advanced than the two holding mids, so just the three forwards and the striker should be pressing in front of rose, and ideally walker, whose absence should have been mentioned.

Don't agree the prob is others not filling in for eriksen and erik when things break down, we have enough men behind the ball the deal with the break, in theory. The prob is getting our chaps to run beyond ade. See the ozil goal yesterday.

Poch is a top manager and needs time... We'll see a brief transitional period, but if it's for a greater good then I'm all for it. My feeling is that our failings thus far have been more to do with the players and not the systems or tactics... yes, even against Diverfool.

The way I see it, Poch is building an airtight machine, with a titanium chassis designed to stubbornly ward off rogue attacks from the top 5 teams. This mechanism is to be equipped with a liquid metal attacking unit that morphs and solidifies into a customized, opposition-specific infiltration implement that will breach any secreted resin defenses that stand in our path.

Pochettino is Miles Bennett Dyson and Cyberdyne Hotspur must be given time to develop into an unstoppable unit (time-travel notwithstanding).

We beat QPR 4-0, everyone talks about how QPR are the worst in the league.

Manure beat them 4-0, and its the greatest turn around in the world, and revolutionary Van Gaal's system is finally taking form.

FRIG OFF!

Manchester United have bribed more people than the Koch brothers, so it's hardly surprising that that kind of crap gets out! Jeez...

Not a pop at you by any means, but this phrase is annoying.
Did their keeper pull off a string of world class saves? Did we have shots off the line? Perfectly good goals disallowed?

The hard truth is, we had a lot of possession, made a lot of passes, but only scored twice.

after the shambles of last season it's going to take more than 4 league games to become the embodiment of any new manager.

And we should of made more of that we had complete control. We hit the post twice as well.

a truly awful article. No research, and little respect for lower clubs

Still think that after this week's result? It couldn't have been more accurate.
