Are premier league clubs not officially allowed to have feeder clubs in the lower leagues? Think it was good what we did with Swindon and Brentford sending a couple of players there at once. Think it could be taken a step further by setting up a proper partnership with a league1 or 2 club to send a few players there every season and also send coaches there a few times a week to put on some sessions, pass on knowledge etc surely something like that would be a benefit to both clubs involved.

Brentford link was because Mark Warburton is friends with John McDermott, hence why we now have Oduwa and Ball on loan at Rangers.

Spurs' under-18s drew 1-1 with local club Atlas in the Copa Chivas today. Marcus Edwards got the goal. #THFC #COYS

Sam Sashoua made the goal with a skillful run. New signing Shilow Tracey made his debut in centre midfield. #THFC

and
I thought we were over stacked with CMs, very strange that we sign a wide forward and then play him in CM.

We only sent Pritchard to Brentford didn't we or I'm I forgetting about someone?

the only centre mids there are owens and stylianides, maybe roles too. it's probably too early to say what tracey is but he's built like a bull so might fit well as a cm and we have plenty of wide options anyway.

My comment was more to with the long term in mind. Aren't Kirby, TOB and Duncan all CMs or do they play further forward? Not to mention the U21s have so many CMs that are playing as full backs and that is without even taking the 1st team, which we are overloaded with at the moment, where as I don't think anyone has really staked a claim for the right wing forward role in either U18s or U21s.

@IGSpur

so i got a translation, doesn't say a great deal but says they'd tried to get other(four in fact) spurs youngsters over to train with/join them but injuries prevented them from doing so. kwp and winks expressed their interest in going there, says kwp is a promising player and is basically the guinea pig for future players going over there but nothing else is confirmed yet.

U17 call ups for Japhet Tanganga, Jaden Brown and Sam Shashoua

http://www.thefa.com/news/england/development/2016/jan/squad-named-for-algarve-tournament-150116

Suprised Tanganga gets called, he has never impressed me in glimpses I've seen of him but I guess the FA know more than me.

All deserved, I'm pretty sure your view of Tanganga is based off one game he made an appearance at LB for the first time at u21s level. Hardly a good sample size. Think he is more than deserving of his place. Since he's been back he's carried on being impressive for us. Think he is a really good CB, really dominant in the air and good positioning. Just needs to stop committing himself.

U18 seem like they cant win a game, even vs Mexican opposition

It;s a tournament abroad, it's a different learning environment. Don't take so many results at face value, there is more to it than that.

I think we've just seen that he is talented and now we're going to experiment to see where he works best. I agree with point though just trying to make some understanding of it

Interesting. I guess the other two would be Harrison who has recently got injured and maybe Miller who needs a loan but is basically recovering from injury. Big shame would have been a great experience for them. So does this mean Winks isn't going? Hope he does would be great for him and get some game time
