Tomorrow's U18 game against Fulham has now been switched to Hotspur Way due to waterlogged pitches at Motspur Park.

Riga Cup u15 schedule :

Today
15:00 FC Levadia - Tottenham

Saturday
11:00 Tottenham - LYN

That determines where we finish in a group of 4 teams, which dictates what time we play on Saturday afternoon, and against who, and in turn which match we play on Sunday morning.

All times are local Riga time which is 2 hours ahead of UK time

I can remember years of looking through England youth squads in vain for Spurs players. It's nice to have regular call ups, even if it doesn't mean that much in terms of eventually making it.

I've heard only good things about Patrick Roberts. Very skilful, ball sticks to his feet.

Wow.

Looks like a seriously promising player.

Excellent dribbling skills - tick.
Good awareness in tight spaces - tick.
Great pace - tick.
Good finishing - tick.
Unselfish, reads the game well and can spot a pass - tick.

What's not to like?

Can we sign him, please?

won our last group game 7-0. play semi final later today.

We won our group with 3 wins and aggregate GD 10-0. Looks from the other results that we play Skonto Academy who also won their 3 group games (aggregate GD 8-2) @ 7 pm local time (5pm UK time)

Just got in from this morning's game against Fulham. Finished 2-2, which overall is a fair result. We played a very fluid formation, with Filip Lesniak in midfield, but filling in regularly for each CB, who both enjoy moving forward on the ball.

Luke McGee - really like the fact he tries absolutely every time to find a short ball, rather than hoofing it. Sometimes it puts the receiver under pressure, but it's good to see we are playing the right way.

Kyle Walker-Peters - very good on the ball, but seemed a bit reluctant to overlap the winger too much. Did well defensively considering their 2 wingers were both very good players.

Cameron Carter-Vickers - Every time I watch this kid my opinion of him grows. The build and strength of Kaboul, the ability on the ball of Vertonghen, and the pace of King. If this guy develops as well as he could do, he's a future Premier League player. Amazing he's still only 15 (maybe just turned 16). Not only does he not look out of place against guys 2/3 years older than him, but he is one of the best players on the pitch every game. As excited about him as I am Oduwa and Onomah.

Connor Ogilvie - Played CB today (his natural position) as opposed to LB where he has been playing recently. He is also very composed on the ball and loves carrying it forward. He should have won a penalty in the second half after picking the ball up as our last man, running 60 yards, and got brought down. Fulham brought the ref (meant to be their home game) and he didn't give much throughout. Also hit the bar from a corner. He's good at LB, but I can certainly see he's more at home in the middle.

Luke Amos - Didn't do much wrong, but looked a bit nervous throughout. Didn't really show for the ball as much as the others. Was up against a very tricky and pacey right winger, and did OK at shutting him out.

Filip Lesniak - As I said above, he played in the CDM role today, but regularly filled in at CB. Very composed on the ball, and did the simple stuff well. Broke up play well on the whole too, as you'd expect from someone who's regularly been at CB.

Harry Winks - Not really a lot to say about him! Just did his job and did it well.

Josh Onomah - I love this kid (no homo / no paedo). Such a good player, and only 16. He isn't just a ball retainer in the Bentaleb mould. He always looks for the killer ball. His pass completion would probably be a bit lower, but that's because of how he plays, rather than ability. In terms of dribbling, he is so hard to tackle. I reckon it won't be long until he gets a shot in the U21 team. Next season maybe.

Nathan Oduwa - Was thinking to myself he wasn't his normal self today, but then he came up with a piece of magic to set up our second goal. He is so good at taking on his man, and the encouraging thing is he is no longer way bigger than everyone else on the pitch, so we can put to bed the worry that he would come unstuck when the others caught up with his build!

Anthony Georgiou - Did well. Tracked back well to help Amos deal with their good right winger. Got absolutely ruined by the winger for Fulham's 2nd goal, but that was more because of the guy's skill rather than Georgiou making a mistake.

Daniel Akindayini - Did well for his two goals, though both were fairly simple finishes. Was great to see how much he enjoyed scoring. Linked up play well, with his back to goal, and always looked involved in the game.

Cheers for the great report.

Seriously excited about this group of players. Carter-Vickers is certainly emerging as one of the most consistent players as the season wears on.

Great write up. Cameron Carter- Vickers is a great prospect and you are correct, just turned 16. His usual CB partner Christian Maghoms (Jacques younger brother) also just 16 is also a good prospect. Connon Ogilvie, like Jan Vertonghen is a better CB but makes a good fist of playing as a LB. Luke Amos is a midfielder and seems to have drawn the short straw a filling in at LB.

As has been said before, we have a good Academy Year 2 filled in with a few players from other year groups.

Shame maybe that we diod not pick up Patrick Roberts when he moved on from AFC Wimbledon 2 years ago, but time will tell
