Evening all,

Well we have just seen yet another defeat!!! But tonight I think he really did set the team up correctly!

I don’t know if anyone else noticed this but in the starting lineup there was not one of the new players (apart from that donkey in goal!) which I think was the right decision!

I think he made the right substation at the right time except I would have took Zakora off and put Dos Santos on you could see they could not cope with Lennon’s pace! Shame he has no end product!!

But overall I think we were quiet unlucky tonight!

However he has lost the dressing room and I think this is where he needs to justify the money we are paying him!

It has not been easy for him losing berbs and Keane but he knew berbs was going from Fe, he should have had quality lined up.

All I can say is I hope this club is proud of the situation and I still stand my ground in saying hanging out for that extra 5 mill on the Berbs transfer is the reason why we are in this mess!!

We've been unlucky all season. A bit of luck and we wouldn't be in the mess we are.

That view disgusts me.

Sorry, no offence, nothing personal but it really disgusts me.

we're going down if thats how the players/manager feel.

For fucks sake there is no such thing as luck, whether it be good or bad. It just doesn't exist. :-|

Luck is when something happens that is out of your direct control. Are you saying that is impossible?

I expected to lose tonight but ended up being bitterly disappointed we did lose- against a good team.
The players can make their own luck by keeping 11 on the pitch and not gifting goals like Jenas against pompey, Bale v Stoke and Gomes tonight.

I agree.... But Gomes thought he could be pele! Was that Ramos's fault? O'Hara is reckless early on in the 2nd half! Is that his fault???

TONIGHT HE WAS UNLUCKY!!!

I think the teamwas setup well Ohara and zak holding and jenas supporting Bent still had the width with len and bale and the defence was our best possible one!!

Luck? Its not down to luck that we dont create chances in a game! We have a quality bunch of players with no direction. How much longer can this crap go on?

I honestly believe luck doesn't exist. You always have some measure of control over situation you are in no matter how little control it may be.

But you are then suggesting that Gomes was in control of the situation when he put his arm around the Udinese player, or O'Hara wasn't in control when he kicked the player 50 seconds after getting his first yellow card. That is not bad luck.

I agree we dont look like scoring in a month of Sundays! But is that Ramos fault? I am hurting as much as you guys but I am looking at this from a ll parties! That tit "Sporting Director" Sells your two best players and waits till 3pm on deadline day to maximise sale and leaves you with a striker that was 4th choice 6 months before!

No he wasn't unlucky. Luck, good and bad is just another mechanism for making excuses when good/bad things happen. It makes us all feel a little better because it becomes lucks fault that the bad thing happened rather than blaming the people really responsible.

I agree! however is it Ramos's fault them players are careless and cant do the simple thing that no manager at this level has to coach into players?

Ok so is the answer to sack him? Cos Bale was a nob on Sunday or cos Gomes/Bale is a nob today?

Not really, O'hara was stupid and Gomes made a howler, Bent did not take his chance towards the end and Udinese went and scored the second goal.

It wasn't bad luck at all

That wasn't luck. He hit the ball in the exact spot where that would happen. Not luck, just mathematics.
