Works hard.

He does. I can give him credit for that. Working hard and passing the ball backwards.

Everything else he's toilet at. Everything.
I don’t disagree but I’ll never get on a players back who works hard. For his sake and ours he should be sold and replaced, but he doesn’t deserve my abuse or derision.

I need at least a month break of seeing Trippier and Davies in this team again. Jesus christ. Hard to put into words how bad they've been this season. Where's the starting at zero for them, Poch? Both still living off last season about 2 months in to the current season. Unbelievable. Drop them already.

Rose needs to be every day LB starter. Rotate for Carabao and eary FA cup. Thats it. Aurier and KWP can rotate at RB.

Defensively Trippier is awful and Davies is not much better.
Rose just isn't the answer

Amazed to say it but I'd have Aurier at RB.
None of our four main FBs are particularly good defenders.

I asked someone what happened for the fourth goal and was told it was Lloris who was at fault. Lloris has done enough to be demoted.

Lloris should have punted it upfield, Trippier should have punted it upfield, Sissoko should have been able to take the ball from the pass. 2 bad decisions and a lack of skill created that one.

At times I thought our players never had anyone to pass to yet Barca always have stacks of options, they make it look easy though I don't know whats that difficult to play like that.

Not sure why all the Lloris bashing - outside of the first goal don't think he did much wrong, and to be frank with a sweeper keeper you take the rough with the smooth, his last man job against Messi would have been a goal if he'd stayed on his line.

We got beat by a considerably better team, but we put up a fight which was good to see. People looking for someone to blame should ask the question why when four of our first teamers are out we don't have much in the way of quality/experienced replacements.

Hope Erik isn't out for any time and went off as a precaution.

He ran around like a lunatic again (in a good way)

Good to see Harry get a Kane-esque goal ;) and Winks really grew in confidence as the game went on and hopefully that will stand him in good stead for the coming weeks (crowd need to get behind him though)

Need Jan back as don't like Sanchez at LCB.

Let’s go out and concentrate domestically for me - top 4 and the cups.

And no interest Europa

If we're in the Europa play kids. It could destroy our league season and potentially put an end to top 4 for some time to come given our lack of investment in the squad to date.

Well it didn't end as badly as I feared 20 mins in. Lloris, for every great move he made coming out to clear he made a shocker as well. Why didn't we show that fight in the first half? Yeah the early goal hurt us but for 25 mins in the second half we went toe to toe with them. Winks suddenly looked like the player before his injury, we were fighting for every ball. Sissoko... well I've said it a hundred times on here that he shouldn't be anywhere near our first team. He's stealing a living as a footballer. Still it was good to see the Spurs from last season for 25 minutes.

I think it is a mixture that in big games, so many times Lloris has cost us, this past year he has made at least 6/7 goalscoring mistakes, and he has just come back into with team with Gazza playing so well

You realize nobody can improve the best team in the universe ever. We will never buy anyone again, ever.

On your thinking I'd hate to see Lloris have a bad game

I know it's Barca but this game just shows how far we have slipped since last year when we qualified from the group stage with ease despite being the number 3 seeds.

The 2 goals tonight are just papering over the cracks. And those cracks are getting larger.

Can't see Eriksen signing a new deal.

Missed a massive chance to progress this summer but messed it up.

But at least we'll have the best cheese room in the country. Isn't that what every supporter wants?!?
We’ve got no money..It’s all gone on the stadium

?You can only laugh at some of our players tonight.
What can you say about these two clowns though...
Lloris ?
Sanchez?
Those two should start up a comedy double act. Just appalling from the first minute to the last second.
Some of the players put in a good shift (Kane, Lamela, Lucas, Winks) but were left hung out to dry by a manager who couldn’t see that playing a back 4 was a horrendously bad idea.
Barca could have done us serious damage if they really wanted to.
4-2 flatters us.
Fail to beat PSV home and away and it’s all over.
Think it’s probably all over for us anyway.
