Sometimes, as much as it hurts, you have to give the opposition credit. They're not pressing our cb's like maniacs, instead they're dropping a little and contesting the middle third of the pitch where they're a lot stronger. It's made difficult viewing because unless Eriksen or Alli drop in deeper we're confined to sideways and backwards passing until we find a full back via the keeper.

Yeah they are playing a high line, but because they are playing without a striker it means the result is a very congested middle third and at present we don’t have the guile in midfield to play through it.

Unless that changes then the ball over the top looks to be our best weapon.
