Back from the Lane and still cannot believe the turnaround from what i was watching a couple of weeks ago. THUDD is not just becoming a regular first team player, but a key player for us. Made my night even better when i saw Alan Smith outside the ground on the way out and booooed him. COYS!

I thought Dawson, Zokora and Campbell were outstanding tonight. Dawson didnt put a foot wrong, Zokora won so many balls and Campbell run his socks off, got a great assist and two goals.

I think Bale is still wary of going in 100% Every challenge seems to hurt him, and he has a bit of a reputation of being made of glass. he is still only 19, give him time. He does need to improve his defensive work, but that will come as well. He ahsnt had that many games for us remember.

Gomes was poor for the corners, but so was our setup. Massive gap for them to attack, but if you are going to come you have to get it. But some of the comments are right out of order. He put his body (and career) on the line, I think he did superbly well to get to that interception as the guy was through otherwise.

Also big up O'Hara, Hudd and Lennon (who providied some great crosses) who pressed Liverpool all game.

At least the scousers at the pub weren't complaining about their kids playing. Yesterday, all I heard was how the Arsenal "kids" almost beat us. I tried to explain that our team had an average age younger than theirs.

Nice to put a dent in Liverpool domestic season. It will make them play harder against Arsencal for the remainder of the cups/league. haha.
