57 is right , we are Spurs NOONE has a clue which of our many teams will turn up .

Just suppose theres no howlers at the back ( it could happen).....a sprinkling of the truckloads of luck experienced by our opponents coming our way today ( not impossible )

So we might as well be positive eh

Im getting pissed off with the defeatist attatuede that is around. We might not be at our best, but i will never write us off like i have seen many do to us before games already.
It might not be about "writing off"

Some people might be in touch with reality........try that....it might help you in the future.

It surely doesn't make you a better supporter when always writing in a thread that Spurs will win a game with 5-0

I have never said we would win 5-0 or said i am a better surporter, as i dont think i am.

What i dont get is people who are surporters of this club just giving up. Yeah we will lose, whats the point...

I am in touch with reality, i know that we have been making mistakes at the back and being punished for them, and that we have ether one of the best if not the bast attack in the premiership in terms of goals.

Man City have been poor away this season, and with a bit more concentration at the back and closing players down i dont see why we cant win this.

i can see us totaly outplaying them (like most teams recently) and then giving away stupid chances, and it all depends on how awake our players are and how well Man City take these chances we gift them!!

also depends on who and how well our forward line will link up

I'm afriad I can't be as positive as some of you! We do have what it takes to beat them, considering their consistent poor away form, but it would be JUST LIKE US to let a team like that break their bad habit and then they will go onto succeed in away games from there on.
VERY happy Elano won't be anywhere near our goals, I could have seen him hammer in one from distance and destroy our defence, creating chances. They still have long range capable players like Petrov and Ireland and these are the goals we can get so easily DONE by and it's just a pitty we don't have any useful players for range shots! :bang:

I'm not, they were only knocks, and Kaboul will have learnt from being left out on Thursday. He needs to play to gain confidence, sitting on the sidelines will be less help.

Yeah, Bent > Defoe.

Lee may have been knocked out, but if he didn't get concussed there is no harm in playing him.

Good point Alex. On this squad he would appear to be the 6th choice centre-mid. 7th if you include the fact that Steed can play in the middle.
