I am not a fan of international weeks (especially when the qualification group is almost wrapped up and we have to play yet another meaningless friendly) as the absence of the domestic season is not something i enjoy.

So looking ahead to Saturday's game, how great it would be if we could emulate this....

Would be great, although that was a home game.

The only stand out memory I have of us winning at Old Trafford is a 3-0 midweek victory in the League cup. I was in primary school at the time but if Memory serves it was 2 from Lineker and a Nayim goal. Thorsvedt also threw his gloves into the crowd at the end of the game.

I'd take a similar result of saturday and only wish I could find a video of that game on youtube.

i think it will be our first points drop of the season.

i'd be more than happy with a draw.

If we have King fit I make us favourites! For the first time in many years I think our players will walk out there without feeling inferior as indivduals or a team.

The big question for me is not if we have the talent to win but do we have the belief? We played off the park at OT and we all know what happened next........Are we mentally strong enough to hold on when we inevitably go ahead?

A point made even more stupid by my reading the fixture list this very morning, noting that we were the 5.30 kick off and still not registering we were playing at home.

We are going to score first be winning then some how Man Utd will win, probarbly through a hotly disputed penalty, that doesnt go over the line but the referee thinks it does and they win, last minute also I reckon. Oh and Defoe, Palacios, King and that skills guy will all get injured and ruled out for the rest of the season. Odds of that possibly 2 to 1 I reckon.

unfortunately i reckon we're gonna lose by the odd goal.

no reason, just a feeling.

At the end of the day, whilst we want to maintain our 100% record... it has to be said that a draw would be a good result for us.

Losing the game is probably the most likely result truth be told

We haven't beaten ManYoo at Old Trafford in the league for 20 years.

We haven't beaten Arsenal at their home for 16 years.

We haven't beaten Cheslea at Stamford Bridge for 19 years.

We haven't beaten Liverpool at Anfield in the league in 16 years.

We beat Man City at their ground ever fking season though.

If bassong and King are both out we'll get ripped for Pace thorough the middle or we'll compensate by being so deep we'll have no attacks of our own. If one is fit we won't lose if both are fit we'll win.

terrible stats, we need to start putting these right if we are ever to breech the top four and maintain that postion.

Technically we did beat Man Utd away a couple of seasons ago...

We were about 30 seconds away from winning at Anfield, and if it wasn't for Keane missing a penalty we should have won at the Filth...
