Hudd, Palacios and Jenas are on 4 bookings each. If they get yellow-carded against Peterborough, they would miss the Liverpool game. Having said this, I would rest our first choice pairing Hudd and Palacios, and play Jenas and Kranjcar/Bentley in the middle.

I heard during the Spam game that that fixture was the last game where 5 cards count as a suspension, its a warning from now. I assume its coz we past the half way point in the season.

My Team
GK. Gomes
RB. Hutton
LB. Bale
CB. Bassong
CB. Dawson
RM. Dos Santos
LM. Niko
CM. Jenas
CM. Huddlestone
CF. Keane
CF. Crouch

Gomes

Hutton Dawson Bassong Bale

Bentley Modric Jenas Giovani

Keane Pavlychenko

Subs: Alnwick, Corluka, Naughton, Huddlestone, Lennon, Defoe, Crouch.

Personally I wouldn't pick Bentley at all, it's clear he doesn't give a shit and someone like Naughton deserves a chance to impress in front of the fans at WHL. Unfortunately though, we need to put Bentley in the shop window so he needs time on the pitch to impress opposition managers!

Defgoe needs to be left out and perhaps he will learn (if possible) that, in order to be considered for future games, he needs to be a team player....which he is NOT, at present. He has cost us more points than any other in the squad and, apart from the 5 against Wigan, he has 'just about' been worth his squad place?
I would play Keano and Pav....with Dos Santos....up front....and the season can, once again, be back on course? COYS!

Defoe is the league top goal scorer, and does what we need of him, to score goals

How many points has he won for us then? im guessing its going to be a hell of a lot more than what he has so called lost for us.

I cant belive your having such a go at Defoe (yea again...) when he is producing his best season so far for us

He is put on the pitch to score goals, he is scoring goals so he i doing his job..... Defoe is he type of striker thatsee's chance and goes for it, if we take tht option away from him again then we will see him go back to how he was with us and strugling.

Keane has done fuck all to deserve to oust Defoe, fair enough gie Defoe a rest and play keane but not the way you are sujesting and even less for Pav

So the fact that, barring one spell earlier this season, he scores in alternate starts at worst, scores goals away, scores points winning goals, gives us two goal cushions and is the premier leagues form striker in a league that involves players of the quality of Drogba, Rooney, Torres and Van Perie means that he is only just worth his place.

You need your eyes, your head, and pretty much everything else about you checked. Just reading your posts is a violation of my senses in the worst possible way

I'd rest Lennon, Palacios, Charlie and Crouch. The four of them played the two games after Christmas and we should be able to afford to rest them. I'm not sure if Ekotto will be gone, but I'd start Bale anyway, or at least bring him on at some point. Keenu's team above is the team I'd go with.

I think we can afford to rest a couple of players for this game, its only Peterborough we could play Bentley in goal and we'd still win no seriously we need to aim at keeping our top 4 spot we'll win the FA cup in 2011 anyway we should not sacrifice the FA cup but we need to prioritise the League, Anyone agree?

Crouch has done everything but score his link up play is excellent I think if Keane doesn't start we might as well say goodbye to him!
