The scoreline is hiding the fact we've not been that bad. Apart from at set pieces which we really need to sort out.

Romero could have had 2. The VAR call was as tight as they come and Saka's goal was a clear penalty for Kulusevski.

Fine margins decide this game and they've all gone VARsenal's way. Shame as it could have been a good game.

I have the complete opposite view...

Arsenal are 1st gear, doing bare minimum knowing, exactly how to score against us. Tactically they are well setup. Even if we score those goals, Arsenal still have the gears to shift.
Scoreline is showing exactly how the 2 teams were tactically set up. Team that winning has ofcourse already won it tactically

If we’re going to lose, I’m not above us injuring several players (nothing serious, just to miss the rest of the season. I’m kind like that).

maybe but Arsenal have had plenty of these given this season alone.

City the other night.

Etc etc

We haven't had a single call like that.

I'm not saying I want to see these given as pens but it does leave a sour taste when others get them and we don't.

Especially in pivotal moments of the game
Look I dont disagree that Arsenal have been lucky with VAR, but if PEH does this job and actually reads the game and sees the switch on, then Davies has an extra body. If Maddison moves the ball around quicker, we might get more chances. All midfield players have been sh!t so far.

And yet these are our “leaders” weak as piss mentality from top to bottom of the club. As long as we’re making money, the results don’t matter.
Been saying we’ve been poor for weeks and yet dogs abuse every time.
Now we’re 3-0 at ht AT HOME IN A NLD! And they’ve not even played that fucking well! Utter farce of a football team! Hook Maddison and son and HT. should have had mikey Moore on bench, probably play with more passion than son! Jokers!

agreed mate.

said in the Udogie thread last week, it's not about Davies stepping up, it's about Maddison and Son. been anonymous for a long time, a real disappointment.

No hesitation to hook Bentancur (or Sarr) but never a vice/captain.

The high line system is killing us throughout the whole season

And you are talking about individual goals.. ..do you even know football?
a) Fuck off being patronising.
b) I keep hearing it's the high line, but the first goal was due to us losing the ball in our own defensive third. The second, sure. The third? A set piece. Do we have a problem defensively? Yeah, but just saying "a high line is embarrassing" is suggesting you're the one that doesn't really know football, because there's a reason Villa and City both use a very high line.

I like the bloke and it's awful what happened to him but Ryan Mason is not good enough as a coach and is stealing a living at this point.
The fuck has this got to do with Mason?

You do know he’s in charge of the attacking set pieces and Jedinak is doing the defensive ones, right?

Hate that Bentancur is always the fall guy and subbed when there are other options and players out there playing worse.

The first two I'll give you. The peh one is definitely on the coaching. Watch them at every set piece. Just stood still waiting for the ball to drop on their heads.

That is 100% how we are set up to play. Not to check for runners, not to protect the keeper and not to attack the ball from a running start. They are to protect their 2 square metres of the area and get rid of anything that drops into that zone.

So what the opposition does is say right I'm going to put three players into that 2m area all with a running starts, and it's impossible to deal with.

That's what happened to PEH.
Fair enough and in that case that’s on the coaching team and manager
