Is it me or are we not pressing this half? Feels like we've binned off the one effective bit of our first-half play and arsenal seem to have a lot more time and space

There’s a key difference between Arsenal, the other big clubs and Spurs. They need key players, they go and sign them, we don’t.

Almost all the players in your lineup in your signature were signed in the past 1-2 years. Most of our key players were recent signings. I'll judge after this summer if we get the players we're missing right now.

I don't understand how we have a 3 man midfield, yet they constantly have someone free in the middle of the pitch.

Opponents in the PL worked out Ange's tactics and countered them as fast as you'd expect.

Also, and I appreciate this may seem reactionary, but I wonder whether some of our backroom coaches are experienced enough.

Mason seems a top dude but is he really the best person for the job? Jedinak?

This is the PL, and to compete with the best you need the best people you can get.

I like the bloke and it's awful what happened to him but Ryan Mason is not good enough as a coach and is stealing a living at this point.
He is being given an opportunity to learn as an assistant manager... one of our own from our academy. Our inability to defend or even be tactically astute isn't on Mason..... you reaching.

How we play is on Ange and the entire coaching setup.

Last two weeks must have been a right doss for players. Domino’s, cards, few beers and the odd modelling assignment.

Arsenal are in great form but this is piss poor.

problem is it’s fed into us in every press conference that we aren’t going to do it and DL has half the fan base believing that this is the correct way to do it. We do need to invest in quality to compete at a consistent level. We don’t have to go mad but instead of spending £50m on a potential player spend £70m on one that can do it from the go

and I know it’s not about spending £70-100m all the time on certain players but what infuriates me is how we’re constantly going into seasons with gaping holes in our squad. This season we only had 2 centre backs Ange was prepared to use, 1 left back, 1 creative midfielder and 1 recognised albeit average striker. Step in Mr injury and all of a sudden our early season form had gone out of the window never to return.

The lack of desire, effort and energy is telling.

Kick someone, nudge someone in the stomach, get the crowd going. Change something
