I remember losing 5-0 at home to these a couple of days before Christmas in 1978. Ho Ho fucking Ho :D

That was during a seven game streak without a win.

I bet Kev was there. Well...........@TheChosenOne ? Did you feel the festive pain too?

Remember it ‘quite’ well, unfortunately

Talking therapy helps but you never forget…

Except every time Johnson got the ball he cut in and never got crosses in , was very odd
Exactly, it’s the same with Deki, with wingers who on both sides hug the touchline and an beat their man either inside or outside the opposition can’t defend that narrow, and it also allows the inverted full backs more space, at this moment teams have worked out to just stay narrow and compact against us.

What ifs…
VdV hadn’t been offside an eight of an inch or what is was.
Or if the rule hadn’t been changed - again! - since the ball came from a defender.
Romero had scored on any/both of his first half headers. Or the one early in the second half.
Son had scored when throug
If VAR/Oliver had taken a proper look at the tripping of Deki; a penalty not given followed by a counter attack to 2-0.

Typical for a team in the flow, fighting for the ultimate prize - versus a team which is not firing on all cylinders simultaneously, I’m afraid.

"Dark arts" ...call it what it is - fucking cheating. If I was Vicario Id have sparked that orange faced ratboy out after the final whistle.

Call it whatever you like…..we still don’t do anything to stop it…..and Vicario really needs to improve his upper body strength….considerably…..

My older brothers took me to that game as a birthday treat - bastards.

Liam Brady owned us that day

I don't care if he is not here next season, Lo Celso must start ahead of Maddison. Kelusevki in the 10 if need be. Maddison has been appalling since the Villa game.

Hope I'm wrong but feel season is over after that.

Please start Sarr, Le Celso and Bissouma from now on. Tired of Hojbjerg, Bents and even madders ATM, they have been below par lately.

Also, we have conceded 7 in 2 games and the goals we got today were gifted, literally.

We have gone back to this time last year, terrible defending and blunt attempts at attack. God help us.

The painful rebuild rears its ugly head yet again.
The goals they got were gifted, literally 😃

Just getting over the game, I have to say a lot of questions to be answered by management today.
I do think the lads were up for it and the effort was there but Theres a distinct lack of direction with anything to do defensively

I didn’t think the Arsenal defending from set pieces was that great.
Better than ours though.

Thats it, had it with VAR.

Was right behind goal for the VDV equaliser, and for that 30 seconds it was the biggest high of my life.

Went fucking nuts with all the ladz beside me.

Then VAR takes it all away.

They had two chances from open play. One was Saka's goal that should have been called off and the other one was probably offside on Havertz anyway. Set piece defending was bad, but I feel like these two things need to be separated.

Watch the 2nd again, White gives Vic a shove to put him on his back foot as the corner is taken, I'm not sure you can blame Vic for that, his momentum is now off and he can't come for the ball, I think that's exactly the same "tactic" that City used in the FA cup. Question should be asked if that should be a foul?
Wouldn’t happen though if we had a player protecting our GK
