Hart seems assured, happy coming for crosses and loving how vocal he is.

Aurier was ok, no mistakes and stretched the game well, more so second half.

Carter Vickers was fine, good concentration levels and seems to read the game well.

Dier was imposing defensively and played the ball out brilliantly.

Cirkin looks like he fully justifies us not signing a left back. Really happy for him to be our second choice left back.

Sissoko just looked clumsy. Off the ball he was fairly anonymous, on it he lacked in both imagination and execution.

White showed for the ball, was tenacious, passed well and decisively and made our best first half chance with a lovely free kick. Like Cirkin, I hope he gets minutes in the first team this season.

Clarke was anonymous first half. Second he roamed a bit and as such had more involvement, without doing much with it. Worked hard but occasionally sloppy.

Gedson was dreadful first half, really doesn’t seem suited to being that high up the pitch. Far happier in the deeper midfield role which, like at RWB, accentuated his energy and determination.

Sessegnon, like the other two kids in AM, was very poor first half. Just seemed lost. Second half seemed happier as an LB who didn’t have to do much defending, but wasted a good chance from our best passing move.

Lucas was willing and mobile throughout but a centre forward he is not. Was shattered by the time he went wide.

Højbjerg, Dele, Son, Bergwijn all improved us. Lloris and Davies were as you’d hope/ expect. Bergwijn especially looks like he’s got superb play making ability and as we know he hits a very sweet shot.

The disappointments in this match are highly mitigated by the fatigue of a second match in two days and the amount of young players on the pitch at the same time. That first half front 4 is never going to appear in a competitive match when you consider that for those positions we have Kane, Son, Dele, Bergwijn, Lucas, Lamela before we have to even think about the likes of Sessegnon, Clarke or Gedson up there, not to mention the ability of Lo Celso to play there if needed.

Far more impressed on me is the quality of Cirkin and White, Dier’s ability at centre back and how much better everyone looks whenever Højbjerg is on the pitch.

Solid performance from Cirkin - Only thing I'd say he needs to work on is passing to players who are already under pressure - does it a lot and it's a bit of a risk.

Better up front when Son, SB & Dele were on. Thought Sess looked better as a LB than up front.

Really hope Moura is nothing more than cover & I'd like to see someone else rather than him in the squad he seems to have simply given up after the Ajax game.

I know Moura isn’t exactly a fan favourite but to say he seems to have given up since the Ajax game is just nonsense. There’s a strong case to be made that from the restart of the EPL to the end of the season he was one of our hardest workers.

I've been told Winks is selling his house, didn't think much of it but considering he's been missing from last two games I hope there's nothing in it. Doesn't seem to be much smoke in the media lately though.
Personally I'd like to see him leave, us recoup a tasty amount of cash and then spend it on someone better.

Aurier's crossing hasn't improved!
I've been pleasantly surprised at some of our passing. Dier, Dele, Moura, Bergwijn, White, Toby, all put in some pinpoint passes. Considering last season we had many passes going astray, it made me happy to see some good passing, in the pre season games, for a change.

He was not only one of our hardest workers but one of our best players. He (along with Sissoko) was often doing a thankless task of defending the right flank, while Aurier attackied and left space behind. His pressing and tenacity off the ball were key to us picking up as many points as we did, during a tight race to secure European football.
