Indirect racism possibly? I don’t really want open that can for being condemned as “woke”… but many a football supporter is quite Neanderthal in their tribal culture.. I hope to be wrong
My guess is the power of first impressions. Have a good showing your first 3 games and the supporters make up their mind. Then when the next 60 are poor there are excuses right and left. Heaven forbid you have a rough start, especially when you come in with high expectations, though.

What makes a brilliant Stadium?

I don’t walk out of there feeling like I’ve had a good time. I’m paying through the nose for this experience. What makes it so special?

The stadium is not responsible for the team performance and your emotional state ffs :ROFLMAO:

Wembley was a shit hole but we played brilliantly there and we couldn't wait to get out of there "back home".

The Tottenham Hotspur stadium is genuinely one of the best in the world. The moaning fuckwits inside it are the problem.

Just think
Richarlison header goes a few inches to the left and this thread is somewhat different.

Great comeback
Great character
Vital three points
We never give up.

Just saying,

Cracks pappered over...yes.

Well he fucking missed and we are shite.

fair enough… just feel he’s become a scapegoat… I remember sissoko getting similar shit & derogatory comparisons to African “idiots” thru memes on here previously over the years… it’s an easy path to tread

Depends what you want from a stadium.

Atmosphere at White Hart Lane was better because the stadium was filled with fans that cared what happened on the pitch. It was our “Home”. When I say that I mean the team, but also the fans.

The new stadium is a great piece of architecture, it’s a lovely swanky glitzy headline grabber. It does great light shows, it has gadgets and gizmos galore….but “home”, it is not…..yet. Not sure it will ever be. I hope so. I hope we fill it with memories in years to come. But right now, it’s not. At all.

We had more humour at WHL because we were utter shite and could at least have some fun with it. Since we got "good" and expectations rose that has coincided with Poch leaving and us playing dour defensive football.

Are you people genuinely blaming bricks and mortar for your emotional fragility? Give me a spell.

If we had a 2015/16 type season in the new stadium you'd never trot this rubbish out again.

When you say “you people” who do you mean?

I’ll trot this “rubbish” out as long as like darling, because it’s how I feel x

I enjoyed the last 20 minutes of today's game more than any other game this season. Crowd stopped whining and booing players and genuinely roared the team on and the team responded. As you say - if Richy hits the target it's a completely different feeling.

But maybe the loss will finally end this ridiculous adherence to a back 3/5.

When lenglet went off I said it to my mates we will regret playing sanchez. We should just bring on danjuma and go 4-2-3-1

100%. And people blaming the day trippers for the shit atmosphere. Lol.
Where I sit, the worst fans are the miserable old season ticket holders who sit complaining and moaning all game long. No idea why they bother going.
One of the reasons I gave up my concession season ticket was I was tired of sitting next to someone who moaned from the time he hit to his seat and from there got worse. No matter where we are in the table or what tactics we use when I go to a match I go to cheer in my team. Any booing is for the opposition or officials. After one season I was fed up of climbing 100 steps to my seat to sit next to someone I would not want to be within a mile of

It's Stellini who has lost us this game today. Like Conte lost so many before him. By playing this awful formation, and insisting on picking the same players week in week out, regardless of whether they perform or not. Bringing Sanchez on was an insane decision. Nothing against Sanchez, but everyone knew what would happen next. That put us on the back foot and we never had enough to recover. What is driving me mad about all this is the stupidity of it all - Conte and now Stellini don't have to be this inflexible. If Levy knew Stellini would just be mini-Conte then he should have fired him too. We need a shot in the arm and repeating the same mistakes isn't it.

The moaning fuckwits are moaning for a reason. Because at the end of the day the Stadium is nothing but a fancy shopping centre if you can’t enjoy the football.

Yeah feels like we are wasting time. Bringing a manager in the summer feels too late. 7 games to assess the team and see what is salvageable. I would be happy to see someone come in now.
Geez. Exactly right. Fair enough if Nagelsmann is dragging his feet. Same with your three top choices. Just a shame that we are seemingly throwing in the towel.

Finally something I can agree with you on. In a strange way I came away feeling more satisfied than I did after the Brighton game.

SO is any stadium.

Because that is what a stadium is - bricks and mortar surrounding a football pitch.

You're missing Pochettino's football not the fucking bogs filled three inches deep with piss and shit at the old WHL :ROFLMAO:

I loved WHL - but the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is an incredible piece of architecture and a brilliant stadium.

Feel exactly the same. And not even that unhappy with Bournemouth getting the win. They deserved it. As would we have if Richy had hit the target. It was a proper game of football that last half hour. Loved it.

Not the first time Levy has dragged his feet during a season while he makes up his mind. Meanwhile we’re paying for a full season. Where else would you get away with this? We should get ourselves down to the West End! I’ve watched the first two acts of the play but they haven’t written or cast the third act so it’s just a load of people wandering around on stage mumbling to themselves…

Well Sanchez ain't playing any time soon, and lenglet and Davies are out, so he may have no choice.
Don't be fooled though, throwing the kitchen sink is different to playing 90mins, we have very poor defenders whatever formation we play....their winner as reference

But it may be more fun I suppose

Gary O'Neil said our coaching team didn't even shake hands at the end. We are becoming so unlikeable. (To everyone else as well as our fans)
