Serious question, does it even matter if he touches the ball when he clearly takes out the player and gains advantage out from it. I assumed the ref thought Højbjerg was diving and should have given the freekick with those pictures.

I was thinking this. If a defender made that challenge in his own box, it would be a penalty because its just just about taking the ball.
