Everytime I feel confident we throw up a stinker

It's the only reason I'm any bit worried, because of how a negative result would just be so typical of football. Taking away that fear and looking at it in pure footballing terms though, I am confident. I allowed my expectations to get quite high for the Everton game with the return of players, so drawing (literally typed out 'losing' initially there) that game almost hit like a tonne of bricks.

I'm almost more cautious about the Wolves game, but don't want those to be famous last words.

I really, really hope that we can squeeze out more than 30mins of a good performance in this one

To be fair, last few games some of the players we played only really had a good 30 minutes in them. Bentancur isn’t fully fit, Maddison definitely not. Sarr not really ready to start after Afcon. I think we are just going to continue to look sharper from now on and having 3 home games to get into our groove for the run in is great. Looking forward to this one.
