What a bench! Very strong 11 that too. Excited for this. Sarr masterclass and Bentancur to find his form please.

So happy Sarr's back.

Fucking diabolical how Conte treated him.

I would argue Gio would be in that ahead of Skipp or PEH.
Don't need those three (with Bissouma) all on the bench.
I always forget Lo Celso, so it's a fair point. But again shows how much better our squad looks now.

Bryan not making the cut. He must have known he wouldn't but still chose to stay

Sooooo which Brighton player do we think will get away with ten yellow-worthy fouls today?

I'm guessing Gilmour or Groß.

Although think I'd have had him over skipp on the bench for home games
I agree in theory. But in practice I'm resigned to Gil never making an impact. How many good games has he had for us? Two? Maybe I'm being unfair but that's what it feels like. I know he tries but it never happens.

Well no hiding place for the players picked today, if they're not performing they will (should) be off.
We have an actual viable option for every position today. (With Udogie being the least replaceable)

Always going to be a few first teamers that miss out when we have fully fit squad. It will be interesting to see what Ange does when Solomon and GLC are fit as well.

I think perhaps Gio was touch and go for getting in and with us having Deki able to drop in as an extra offensive option Ange decided not to risk him. I'm still surprised he isn't in ahead of Skipp or Hojbjerg though.

As everyone else says. Probably our strongest matchday squad of the season. Solomon and GLC in for Skipp and Hojbjerg probably is as good as it can get for us this year?
