if I wasn't posting on here I'd have passed out from boredom ...we deserved to win but we didn't impose our philosophy on them, we allowed them to make it a stop start affair and got suckered into a lull where we lost our shape and willingness to run beyond and stretch the play. That's a mental thing, physically we should be tired hence the fresh legs but today, our heads were not fully in it and hard to criticise players after the barca stuff

Normally I don't doubt this team in these situations but after 20 or so minutes of nothingness in the second half I was beginning to worry. It didn't look like it was going to happen.

Credit to poch and the boys for staying strong in difficult circumstances. I was worried they didn't believe enough.

This season is aging me significantly. I didn't even know what 'significantly' meant until around the 84th minute, that's how quickly it's happening.

We really need to get ourselves up for this type of team, and Poch please substitute earlier in games.

Win our next 2 and we're on course for 90 points which would probably only see us getting third, mental season.

80+ to get top 4 this season I think.

This was like a training match ..Defence vs Attack...I thought nothing was every going to go in...

Fernando gave us more of an attacking threat when he came on . I think sometime Kane should just stay up there instead of dropping deep

Most effective attacking player was Sissoko. Our best chances came when he made the run

Such a low energy game for us.

Such lack of imagination against a team all back in the final third, get the ball, piss around in CM for a while and with the CBs then get it to Rose or Trippier and have your cross blocked. Repeat 78 times.

We then finally decide to start lifting it directly in the air to Kane with runners like Dele and Son and boom we look dangerous. Need a little more imagination from the players at times. A low energy game was expected after Barca and playing in front of 10 people at Wembley, but to keep repeating the same formula for 90 minutes was pretty dull and driving me crazy.

Lovely 3 points to take off a time wasting bunch of cheats who's manager needs a good look at himself when talking about cheating.

Born winners.

We look very dangerous every time we put Llorente up with Kane, I hope we do it more.

You can't really criticise their style of play. They've tried to be a bit more positive this season and it's been a failure, and the cost of relegation is just too large. Don't blame the teams looking after their own interests. Blame the greed of the big clubs that hoard all the wealth in the Premier League making 17th place by far the most important, and the biggest within that who want to pull even further away and make it impossible for the likes of Burnley to compete while playing a good game.

Sorry to interrupt the conversation, chaps, but does anyone have any spare hair lying around? Mine has disappeared over the last 2 hours or so...

Had a blast with that. Always confident we would win but I was feeling a little unsure before the goal haha Gotta say though regardless the opposition if they put 11 men in behind their halfway line I think every team in the league will struggle. It’s the fact we don’t get an early goal that makes it harder but I’m fine with that. Never lost faith we would get there in the end and maybe it’s all the sweeter that my gooner brother walked in to gloat about a minute before we scored. Anyhow, I get why people on here are all doom and gloom but have some faith. Burnley had a plan as do all the other teams outside the top 6, it sucks but their aspirations to stay up are just as big as ours to win. Respect to everyone here but let’s be happy with the win.
