The Great Mince Pie caper: Update!

It was fucking bellyknocking. She caught me red handed though as my cunning plan wasn't quite as cunning as I thought it was, seeing as Mrs A&C was sitting talking to our daughter on FaceTime when I told her to answer the door to her :D

Still, it was a nice mince pie and I reckon if I'm really nice to Mrs A&C, she might let me have another one once I've recovered from the swift kick to the nads.

Phew!!! We dug that one out!!! Showed real character to keep plugging away, and finally we got the breakthrough!! COYS!!!! Another vital winner from Eriksen, please please please sign a new deal, I'm as desperate to see him posing for the cameras with Poch in front of a desk with pen in hand and deal done as I was for that winner. Poor old Gravel Chops is going to be devastated as he consoles his team after that and then has to come out for the post match interviews .......

I’m going to tape this game tonight then pause it on Joe Hart’s head and shoulders just at the point he realises all his time wasting efforts have been in vain. I might not find flakes but I’m shitsure I’ll see a chip

Used to like Burnley, but that turned me off on them big time. Time wasting from the get go. Granted we really had no urgency, but they didn't want to get out of their half. Poor.

Title winning sides win no matter what and pick up three points like we keep on doing. About time the world saw this as a squad that doesn't give in and fights until the end.

if I wasn't posting on here I'd have passed out from boredom ...we deserved to win but we didn't impose our philosophy on them, we allowed them to make it a stop start affair and got suckered into a lull where we lost our shape and willingness to run beyond and stretch the play. That's a mental thing, physically we should be tired hence the fresh legs but today, our heads were not fully in it and hard to criticise players after the barca stuff

We played Barca mid week the emotional drain was always going to be a factor.

How did skip do?

Even though we laboured for much of the game there's something about a last minute winner... Just gets you so fucking charged up!!!

I was oddly calm about this - until about 85 minutes.

We always seemed in control, and you figured the goal was coming.

Gonna reply to both your posts in one go. When Son missed that chance I started to get a little stressed, then when Dele missed I was getting messages from my mates giving me shit and I missed the goal as I was busy hurling some straight back.

Poch got it spot on with the changes. First time in a while I've felt he didn't lose the shape of the team whilst bringing on 3 subs, usually it's 3 subs and it's a bit gung-ho and all over the place.

2 points gained in last season too is it not?
The only points dropped on last season was the 3 at home to liverpool and 1 against watford. We've earned points against chelsea, burnley, cardiff (wba), leicester, man utd and brighton. (15)

The most beautiful thing about winning that late on was the sound of Gooners nationwide shouting as one 'Oh ffs' and their hearts breaking ha ha.

'We'll be 4th tomorrow when we win. We'll be 4t.... oh bollox.' :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Oh and as a side note I’m loving the fact that we are scoring late goals and being decisive. So much for the soft underbelly. Those days are well and truly over. If this was city, Liverpool or even the gooner these days we’d be saying how they always win, expected etc. Well now those teams fans are starting to think the same way. COYS

Sickener for Arsenal and Chelsea fans and guarantees us to end the weekend ahead of them both: very satisfying.

That is the kind of result champions get, the kind of result we all watched Ferguson's United get in games like these for years and we all said that's why they're champions.
How do we think Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool feel now, chuffed or gutted?:)
