Shit, thought this was a fan forum where people could offer differing opinions?

If you don't like people who disagree with the team selections all the time put them in 'ignore' but i would guess it would be difficult to have a conversation with yourself.

Then again you may enjoy that.

But it’s not okay to disagree with those pissy moaners moaning about team selection?:D

Gerrard: ‘Spurs have recently been punching above their weight’

Spurs have finished above Liverpool 7 out of the last 8 seasons....

Us finishing second and third is very much punching above our weight. Normal service has been resumed this year with the state backed billionaires walking away with the title.

I assume he sees it as a pretty physical game & thinks Sissoko & Dier are the best option to combat that, I hope he's right.

I can see Sissoko having the type of game where at the end you all will be glad that Poch played him.

Has this ever happened before, ever? I'm aware that we have won with him in the side, but to my memory that's always been in spite of his ineptitude rather than because of it.

I think he does have the right FB pairing...we should have one attacking FB, and one more defensive FB - better balance. Assuming Rose stays, this allows for a better rotation moving forward.
Spot on and it is not rocket science.
What MP was thinking about against city is anyone's guess.

MP usually gets a good response after these defeats so I am optimistic we can get a result, although I would prefer 3 at the back.

Where did I say it happened before? There is a first time for every event

You're right we haven't won because of his ineptitude but we have sometimes won with him putting in, what those of us who want him to succed and don't just bemoan his existence would call, a solid performance

I'm feeling really nervous ahead of this game for some reason. It feels like we must win with other teams dropping points.

Please don't let us down Spurs!
