No, I'm with spursmanchris on this one. Berbatov had a split second decision to make with that chance tonight, granted it took an unbelievable save from Cudicini to keep it out but it happens to all top strikers at some point. Penalties are different, you have much longer to line them up, even to guess where the keeper is going to dive.

He dummied the defender so brilliantly and then it should have been 2nd nature for him to score. He do-dalled on the ball and it seemed from where I was seated that he second guessed himself.

Oh and I agree, as good a save it was, it was a bad miss. I'd expect Berbatov to score in that position. 9/10

Great effort, we could have nicked it but a draw was a fair result. Woodgate was awsome again and he's been a great buy. So nice to see the chavs walking out gutted. So much fun this season. We might not be the best side in the league but stand proud because we're definately the most entertaining, neutrals must love watching the mighty Spurs, although for us it's a serious rollercoaster.

I've been home about 20 minutes and (maybe greedy) I'm gutted we didn't take all 3 points, what an unbelieveable chance for Berba right at the death. Cole is a slimy little shit who shoulda been sent off. Ramos seems to have a thing about getting a result in big games at the mo.

On the whole another dull game at the lane.

Do you not think that their keeper had no or little chance with the goals and Robbo although perhaps a little unlucky could/should have saved maybe one of theirs?

Robbo had virtually no chance with three of them except for near-miracle saves. How many of those do you expect a keeper to have to make in a game? Cole's second perhaps, but it would still have been a pretty unbelievable effort or sheer luck to keep it out.

The real questions should be asked of Chimbonda. Or rather, why exactly is he being played at LB?

Not long back from the game, just switched on SSN and watched that Cole challenge on Hutton. Can't beleive he wasn't sent off for that!! The ref was right there so no excuses! Absolute fackin disgrace! He went to do him with what could have been a leg breaking assault and then his show of dissent and petulance after was also shocking! Fackin fuming after seeing the replay. What a ****!!:evil:

I still haven't seen it—probably just as well for my blood pressure. The 949 team went absolutely mental (and Clive Walker's ex-Chelsea!). He reckoned Hutton saw Cole steaming in just in the nick of time and got his foot off the ground, otherwise his leg would have been smashed.

What an utter **** Cole is. And it was his throw that set up their third.

Riley's a wanker and really shouldn't officiate again. Total disgrace.

just got back from the game - WOW! what a great comeback in the 2nd half (thanks to Hudd perhaps). what a strike from Robbie Keane! what a reaction to cole's yellow card (shouldve been sent of that little ****). what a save by Robbo from a free kick. what a ... game!

couldve been great in the end - but I think that 4-4 against chelski (coming back from 3-1) is a great achievment.

You are a disgrace.

And so are you.

Why speak down about a player who contributed to our draw by scoring one of the vital goals? It was an incredibly tight opportunity for Berbs, he just had to take it he didn't have a whole lot of time to place it, so it happened to be aimed close to the keepers position. Berbs did all he could there, it was just a ludicrously good save from a keeper who we should definately make a move for that denied us a win.

Get over yourself

It was a bad miss, go and watch it again. When you're standing on the penalty spot with no defenders around you and the keeper is rooted to the spot and off his line, in the last minute of the game, you stay calm and you slot the ball into the bottom corner across the goalkeeper. You do not scoop it to exactly the keeper's hand-height with the ball heading for the upper middle of the goal. It was the worst possible placement of a shot.

The guy is apparently some kind of deity, he should be expected to score in that position. It was a decent save, no doubt, but he shouldn't have been allowed to make it in the first place.

I would genuinely be extremely disappointed not to score myself if in the same situation.

I must quickly say that I'd rather watch Spurs win, lose or draw any day of the week than watch two of the big 4 slug out a 1-0 or 0-0 draw. Look out for "Grand Slam Sunday" where the stars won't show up and it'll be boring as hell to watch.

The neutrals must surely be more interested in Spurs, 109 goals in our league games this season!

Spurs - Portsmouth will be better match than either game on "Grand Slam Sunday".

If we'd had Grant and they'd had Ramos tonight, they would have won b 7 or 8.

Chelsea's recent form is all down to the players, the press tell Grant who to pick, they play, they cost alot, and therefore they are better than most players, they tend to win.

Our recent form has a lot to do with Ramos, Jol was a good manager, but Juande seems to be Mourinho-like in bold team selection and early, positive substitutions, he has that extra "je ne sais quoi" and we ned to continue these performances into next season.

i thought the best chant of the season, was chelseas fans singing your the wankers from the lane, before we got 2 goals back then nearly nicked it at the end.

However,

Reilly-Fuck off! that was the worst performance from a ref I ve seen this season and thats not easy at the moment.

Ashley Cole: Fuck off! Thats the worst tackle ive seen this season. clear red, disgraceful act of petulance towards referee.

Terry/Lampard: How the fuck do these two get away with constantly barracking referees and trying to intimidate other players, Lampard always goes into argument with his head down, I hate this prick.

Drogba: Err, is this guy serious? Words dont describe how much of an utter **** he makes of himself on the pitch.

Zokora: Nice channelling of Joe Cole towards our area for the 2nd goal numb nuts.

Assistant referee: Nice miss of Drogbas offside interfering with play for the 2nd goal fuck face.

Berbatov: Sorry dude, joe coles finish was world class, nice to see you had a sense of humour about your own poor finishing skills at the end, be nice if you could be a bit more forgiving of those around you.

Robbo: Bet youre glad your poor spilled save effort that cole scored from was dissallowed huh?

Jenas: No. Just No, The England Manager was watching or didnt you realise?

Grant: Wenger school of Bullshit Degree (Hons).

Well that really was "the draw that felt like a win". Even at 3-3 I didn't think the scoring was over - well not Chelsea's anyway. And how funny was Robbie's equaliser? Superb shot but it bounced off Carvalho's back. Shades of "it's behind you!"

I must echo a couploe fo stockspur's thoughts (although not in such racy vernacular), namely that Jenas should have been told Capello was there to improve his performance. And that Berbatov should be less petulant when others get it wrong because, as Americans would say, "that was the game" when Steeeed (I guess Stoof has been on here already saying this?) threaded that brilliant pass through to him at the end.

As I posted in the "Disgusting" thread, the FA need to grow a pair and sort out Chelsea's mob mentality. They really do think they should be officiating as well as playing the game.

But good to see that Ashley Cole has set the bar for what is an acceptable tackle on a player. Someone needs to Heather Mills that guy - and soon.
