It's the first 'big' game we're having in the Europa this year - I'd be surprised if we vary too much from the group who have been playing in the competition so far. It's a chance for Mourinho to see if they can step up and do it when it starts to count, which might feed into some crunch-time decision making, particularly for players like Vini.

Much easier to do that with a team at this stage than one in the latter rounds. Especially with Kane, Bale, Son either on the bench or one or two on the pitch at the same time.

If some fringe players don't start impressing, I can't see them being relied on later in the comp or key prem league games (particularly if we're challenging for top 4), which might signal the end for them here.

Hope everyone steps up tonight and puts in a dominant performance.

Kane and Son! Son needs a bloody rest. Bergwijn should have started instead of him.

Would have preferred Bergwijn or Vinicius instead of Sonny. I am very worried about running Son into the ground, if we get a 2-0/3-1 win tonight maybe we can rest him next week instead.

I'll be honest, if Son is repeatedly getting selected I'm more inclined to think that's he ok physically as those at the clubs are the ones who get to assess him on a daily basis. The prospect of a goal from him and a return to form with heightened confidence may make his selection well worth it.

I'm sure Mourinho understands Son and Kane's condition. The match is at home so I bet his thinking is to come out strong and try to bag 2-3 goals to put the tie away in the first 45 minutes.

We also have 5 subs so I'm sure Sonny and Kane will be replaced ASAP at 60 minutes or so. I don't mind the decision, I suppose it could backfire if Zagreb nab an early goal.

Probably gassed by the end of 90mins, but he could just have a quick recovery time, so can play more matches.
