So many of you guys can see the transition of the ball across the midfield was so fucking damn slow although we had Winks and Sissoko, who both did well under the pressing and Sissoko gotta deal with the pressure of just giving away a penalty, but let Eriksen free with an out-of-jail card?

He should be controlling the flow from midfield to attack but I didn't really see him in the first half TBH. There were such huge gaps in the scums defence that he could probe but he resorted to playing short back passes with our two cute CMs..

Erickaen was more or less invisible all through the game!!

So, walking away from the pub after full time. Have my 15 year old with me ... he is as down as me. Then four pool supporters walk up and take the piss. Would you a) deck the biggest fucker of them all or b) just walk away and comfort your kid. Answers on a post card.

This is why the entire country hates those shites. They’re just complete moron scum

People saying the penalty ruined the game or cost us, get a fucking grip, we had 88 minutes to get back into the fucking game. Responsibility is our own.
This. I thought we dominated but just had no cutting edge. Liverpool were awful which is frustrating.

I said all along if we were going to lose this game I didn’t want us to lose they way arsenal surrendered in Baku cos that was embarrassing and I didn’t want us to lose cruelly to a last minute penalty or stoppage time deflected goal.

That didn’t happen and so far as I’m concerned we lost with honour. For some that’s still a loss but regardless of how you feel, I am proud of this club and miracles we have witnessed this season......moments that will live with me and my son forever.

Back in the hotel now, and looking forward to getting home tomorrow

Also looking forward to another champions league campaign next season and not every club in London can say that

Season has been a slog tbh, great to reach a champs league final. We're in it again next season though and fingers crossed we have a good transfer window now ?

If that was Eriksen’s swan song for us then what a pathetic way to go out, he was awful. If he plays like that for Madrid he will get chewed up and spat out

I'll takeķ £Xm for him right now, he hasn't got the bollocks!!

Players will go home, watch the game and realize it really was there for the taking. Shame.

If that’s a penalty in the modern game then we all need to start training our forwards to kick the ball at the oppositions arms.

We weren’t our best but neither were they. They don’t win that game without that dodgy pen. I think the heat killed the spectacle but we should be proud to have got that far

Bottom line is we exceeded all expectations and came up short in the final. We did outplay them except for the final 3rd. I'm extremely grateful for the progress that we've shown given the transfer window issues. It is not satisfying, because we can do so much more with the smallest investment. Many thanks to the players, Poch and staff.

What was Sissoko doing? Looked slightly chest first? But beggars belief.

4 months of training, tactics, planning, looking forward. Gone in 27 seconds.

I do think if Lloris saves it we win 1-0 like City@home.

Disappointed with that but the Kane starting mistake is what is really frustrating right now.

Heddle called it. I wanted Moura and Son busy up top in the channels.

Sure we have hindsight but Kane was not close to match fitness. Llorente offered far more 2nd half v Ajax
