So many of you guys can see the transition of the ball across the midfield was so fucking damn slow although we had Winks and Sissoko, who both did well under the pressing and Sissoko gotta deal with the pressure of just giving away a penalty, but let Eriksen free with an out-of-jail card?

He should be controlling the flow from midfield to attack but I didn't really see him in the first half TBH. There were such huge gaps in the scums defence that he could probe but he resorted to playing short back passes with our two cute CMs..

Erickaen was more or less invisible all through the game!!

I said all along if we were going to lose this game I didn’t want us to lose they way arsenal surrendered in Baku cos that was embarrassing and I didn’t want us to lose cruelly to a last minute penalty or stoppage time deflected goal.

That didn’t happen and so far as I’m concerned we lost with honour. For some that’s still a loss but regardless of how you feel, I am proud of this club and miracles we have witnessed this season......moments that will live with me and my son forever.

Back in the hotel now, and looking forward to getting home tomorrow

Also looking forward to another champions league campaign next season and not every club in London can say that

We will never know but I still think he had earned the right to start the game and hopefully carry on from where he left off against Ajax.

We weren’t our best but neither were they. They don’t win that game without that dodgy pen. I think the heat killed the spectacle but we should be proud to have got that far

Bottom line is we exceeded all expectations and came up short in the final. We did outplay them except for the final 3rd. I'm extremely grateful for the progress that we've shown given the transfer window issues. It is not satisfying, because we can do so much more with the smallest investment.
