This very well could and even should have been the perfect Mourinho performance. Sat back, absorbed pressure, limited their chances and have had two best chances of the game. Can't blame Jose for that poor finishing.

Been surprised by us today, people will say it was poor in that we didn't take the game to them, but we don't have the capability to do that from start to finish.

Thought we would get thrashed today but have seen fight, good defending and organisation and at least a bit of an attacking threat. Something that has been missing from us of recent.

Eriksen Should not start another game.
Reception he got leaving the pitch very telling. Haven’t seen that before.

Have to say given we have so many players out we can be proud of this, if we’d taken our chances we’d have at least a draw here. Not always pretty but Jose is working with what he’s got which is a team inferior to Liverpool in virtually every position with 5 of his preferred best XI players out injured (Lloris, Davies, Sissoko, Ndombele & Kane) so promising signs for the future under Jose for me if we can sign 4-5 players to fit how he wants to play (RB,CB?,CM,AM,ST) and we get our best players back fit I think he can do something good with us.
