If Liverpool had recorded any more positives I think we'd have heard by now. Leicester were trying to postpone the game on Thursday again by like 10am so the testing must be done as early in the morning as possible.

I’m so split on what todo for today’s game. Large part of me wants to go but cant Shake the thought that it just isn’t a good idea. I’m less bothered about catching covid myself am triple jabbed and to be honest think I might have had it the other week. Had all the symptoms but pcr and numerous latteral flow tests were negative. Thing is with Christmas in less than weeks time I dont want to be the one who ruins it for the family.. it’s so hard trying to work out correct thing to do.

I really think It’s madness we are in this situation. All of the games for this weekend and mid week should have been postponed.

Seems likely Liverpool will win.

We have a lot of players out, they are on a roll and they have a good recent record against us.

Only thing going in our favour is the recent hiatus means Conte will have had more time to work with our players and they will be fresher.

If we can keep the shape, keep them quiet and hit them on the break then there's a chance.

Let’s just get some of our games played shall we.

I just think we need to get the fixture out of the way. It’s one we usually lose anyway and don’t want it mounting up taking up training and playing time when we could possibly be on a good run in the new year. On the flip side, play it in January and there’s no Mane or Salah. It’s a tricky one.

Can we have some positivity please - theyre missing a few, im sure we are missing a few. Not ideal preparation but I hope our players go out there like greyhounds.

Completely agree. Our own fans already writing us off.

Potentially now is actually the best time to play them

Come round here looking for positives in the midst of mass testing due to a pandemic. :p

Must say 2 or 3 years ago I absolutely despised them largely down to their ridiculous obnoxious fan base. But lately klopp just being generally a good bloke, Salah being a brilliant footballer and the fact they aren’t petro fuelled, I now don’t despise them quite so much ?
Also Klopp and Conte have something in common, enthusiasm.
Hopefully COYS in 4+ hours.

haha - I mean pun was intended

Liverpool are the team I want to beat the most, not Arsenal, not Chelsea but Liverpool. No draw, but win. Their defence can be got at, they will score no denying that but their defence is there for the taking.

Sadly we all know that’s not going to happen with Tanguy in the team! Really would Be a Christmas miracle to see him put any effort in!

Why no Skipp? I know PEH may be missing - not sure if injury or Covid.
He was certainly in the training video. I guess it just depends if he's one of those who only have 20-30 minutes in their legs. If he does I'd be tempted to start him anyway, even if he has to come off after half an hour. Ifs, buts, and maybe's though.
