just one goal. if it happens it will turn the season around. imagine being this close to the top, beating manc. with our b team. the confidence in our tactics and squad will be insane

This is very encouraging, despite our injuries, the future looks good under Ange

I think this is a key point we need to focus on - so many demanding players be let go, declaring them dead wood, then they get onto the pitch under Mr Potsofcockglue (still making me laugh) and there's a fire in them...

Fire it up, Ange!

Moving from 424 to 433 has been the difference.

Silly to start with 424

I know it's splitting hairs, and I'm not watching the match, but wouldn't it have been 4231 rather than 424?

Regardless, from what it sounds two in central midfield isn't enough against City.

Some game this, this is why we love Ange because with this approach we give ourselves a chance in any game, we give it a go.

Again result could still go either way but so so proud of this performance again with basically our B team away to the best team in Europe, so impressive.

Neville giving us absolutely no credit of course haha

Yeah I was gonna say, love how the narrative has switched. First half we were naive and shouldn't have been sticking to our principles with City rampant, second half when we're much better City have taken their foot off the gas and are now complacent because they won the treble 🙄

Really can’t see Gil making it here, he’s too feeble. Modric was small but he was strong and had legs like tree trunks. Bryan looks like a malnourished street urchin from a Dickens tale
A lot of people thought he should play for tactical reasons, but I find him so ineffective as to negate any benefit

You shouldnt tease people for their looks, but surely one of Haalands parents must be Uruk-Hai?

Said it last week, come what may we should be confident no matter what happens for the rest of this match. Not often you see city get sustained pressure like this in a match albeit just the second half.
