Hook Kulu for Solomon if it isn’t working at halftime imo. He stayed on the pitch too long last week. Give him a chance obviously but we can’t persist with the same shite up top for 180 minutes. Hope they’ve worked it out in training.
Or son. Who also struggled

Loving the attacking mentality, so refreshing after some dreadful football for the last few years. Could lose 0-5, could win 5-0
So I'm predicting the best 0-0 of the season.

Think people are reading too much into players being dropped for this game for others to come in and play. We don't have many games this season to rotate much so I reckon Ange is trying to not fix a starting XI so to get most, if not all, players on their toes. This will continue to happen throughout the season IMO.

Big match for Richarlison.

Being crowded out by Brentford’s back three parking the bus is one thing, but there will be space to operate in today.

We need to see promising signs or else we should start thinking about Son up top IMO.

Pedro does worry me slightly but he probably fits the attacking style more, not sure what’s going to happen but there’s going to be goals.
Best form of defence is attack! I guess the aim will be to keep Rashford going the other way as much as w

After years of sitting back at our gaff inviting teams to look like the home side we finally get to show teams that you come here and were going to be all over you., no surrender! COYS.

No dier in the squad for 2nd game running, must be on the list to move on if he can't even make the squad.
You would hope that he gets the message and asks his agent to do some work to move him on.

The problem we have had over the years is that too many players can't do better than Tottenham and still get chances in the team, so why would they want to move anywhere else?

Unfortunately, you have to be a bastard and let them get the message by leaving them out.

Fuck yes. Genuinely thrilled to see a Maddison / Sarr / Bissouma midfield. And Porro and Udogie too! No sitting back under Postecoglou.

I love the way Ange answers questions and speaks. I want to run through walls for him and I'm an overweight 44 year old!

In a weird way probably Porro being a better technician means he keeps the ball better in that inverted fb/dmrc role.
That's true. Main thing is his defensive positioning does not get exposed. Barca took advantage right at start in pre season, but his performance recovered very well after that.

Christ, just seen the line-up! Assume we're doing one of those 'celebrity edits this week's magazine' things, and this week it's Ben Stokes picking the team?
